THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE FROM HELL. I bought shoes as a surprise for my daughter's mother birthday which lives in Canada. When the shoes were purchased this store did not have the correct size in stock therefore assistant manager Edgar said they will send a courier from their warehouse to deliver it at my business the next day. When the package arrived at my business, I immediately shipped it to Canada. I received a call the same day the shoes were delivered to her in Canada that the shoes appear worn. She sent pictures immediately. I was at disbelief that this could happen at a high end store. When I received the pictures, I called the store immediately to informed them that they have sold me worn shoes. When the shoes arrived back to me, I brought them back to the store with my receipt. I was really upset because Edgar initially refused to exchange the worn shoes he had sold me. After insinuating I will elevate this issue to Corporate Office he exchanged the worn shoes he had sold me. While I was about to walk out of the door after the shoes were exchanged, I realized on my receipt the shoes were exchanged for a half size bigger. At that time, I remembered my daughter's mother saying if I can get half size bigger than do so. While about to leave, I cordially thanked Edgar for exchanging it to a half size bigger because I had forgotten to ask that while he debated with me about exchanging the shoes. With my final receipt in my hand, Edgar said that he cannot give me a half size bigger...he has to exchange for the same size. I could not understand why when they are all the same price, and it was not company policy to exchange for same size. Didn't understand why I was treated that way. He then walked away from me without explanation for 20 minutes, I stood there patiently. With my receipt in my hand, I decided to leave because I was in-between work and waited so long....also didn't know what I was waiting for. When I walked out, Edgar came after me and asked me to come back in. I said, ok let's go back in, but I want my refund since he doesn't agree with exchanging for the half size bigger and not giving me an explanation. When I walked into the store, he said he will call SECURITY and also said he will NOT REFUND my money. I immediately said I will call the POLICE and I did. The police came in immediately and I explained what had happened. After hearing Edgars side of the story as well, the police officer was puzzled and asked what is the problem with the customer having the half size bigger and again, he couldn't answer. The officer said they cannot enforce the store to refund my money. I said I don't have an issue, I have my receipt in hand and I was out of the door with my exchanged merchandise and Edgar came after me. I want to leave and be left alone without Edgar harassing me about the exchange. The police officer told Edgar the transaction was already complete and he cannot stop me from leaving with my merchandise. Please be careful where you spend your money. Ever since I was 14 I have always wanted a pair of Christian Louboutin's, so whilst I was in Miami for a few days, we popped into this store just to have a look at first because I was going to buy the shoes at the end of the holiday. So as we walked into the shop, we were greeted by the body guard who locks the door each time a customer leaves or enters the store, meaning that only a certain amount of customers at one time are present in the store, making this a more personal experience and a lovely man called Mario who has worked in this store for 13 years. He actually complimented me on my hair at first and we got talking about how I put these pieces of glitter in my hair and then I went on to explain that this will be my first pair of Christian Louboutin shoes and I was treating myself for my 30th birthday. He could not have made me feel more welcomed than he did and nothing was too much trouble, he asked me to pick out a few pairs of shoes that I liked and then went to get them in my size to try on, he was explaining to me about trying the shoes on with this sock that they give you, as it helps your feet fill the shoes first and once you've walked round a bit, you take the sock off and try the shoes without it. He was so knowledgeable on all the shoes and how they should and shouldn't make your feet feel, I was totally blown away. After two hours and 15 minutes exactly, I decided on a pair of shoes to buy, even though I was torn between two pairs but again, Mario helped me come to my decision. He also very kindly said that they would hold on to my shoes whilst I was on my weeks cruise, so they were safe and I could collect them when I returned. Read moreMy husband went to the Miami Design District boutique to buy me a pair of Louboutin shoes for my birthday, the sale associate "Trusiana Patore" told him to get me a 7.5 since they don't have my size 8, she told him that they will exchange them if they don't fit. Next day Friday June 10th I got my present when I took the shoes out of the box they had slight scratches in the sole, I asked my husband if he checked the shoes, of course he replied "I didn't know I have to since they are new and I bough them in a boutique" I tried the shoes and they did not fit well so the same day we went to the store and talked to Trusiana, I explained everything, she said "the shoes are going to scratch anyway when you use them and I can put the in a stretching machine to see if they fir better" I agreed (following her advise) the same day when I got home I tried the shoes again and they definitely did not fit. I put them in the box and decided to returned or exchange them. On Saturday my husband called Trusiana on different occasions and she never call him back. On Monday when he went to the boutique "trusiana" was very rough she said the shoes can't be exchange or return.
