An unforgettable shopping experience & amazing customer service from Calypso!
The Miami location is appointment only & has a strict policy where you cannot schedule another one until 5 days of your original appointment. That being said I was unable to make it to my first appointment & called 45 minutes after the scheduled time to request a reschedule since the website would not allow me. A store associate named Calypso answered my call & took care of it no problem.
At arrival you wait around the gate of the store where a security guard & employee will check you in for your appointment. My girlfriend was on the list with me but had to find parking since I would've been late again. I told them about her & they later brought her in without an issue. The store itself is absolutely stunning. A sheltered world where everything is Chrome Hearts from the furniture to the artwork, glassware, kitchen utensils in the cafe, & even the chocolate (which was good af). If you are a Chrome Hearts fan or someone who can appreciate that kind of detail I highly recommend it.
As for the shopping experience itself I was very skeptical after reading many negative reviews from Google & YouTube. The negative reviews had varying complaints some of which are really stupid like how people without appointments were denied entry or how store employees followed them around "breathing down their necks & pressuring them to buy something" which if you aren't going to buy anything why schedule an appointment in the first place? Other reviews did mentioned how some employees seemed "unenthusiastic"/"uninterested" & to that I disagree. Every employee was very helpful & more than happy to help me out. Maybe I got lucky but I like to think most people are just too sensitive. Calypso was my in-store assistant for the appointment & was excellent & helped answered the many questions I had. I was disappointed about how they didn't have the main piece I was there for (Silver Cemetery Ring) but I was told about the insane demand for Chrome Hearts & told me that if I email them about the ring they'll contact me when it's available. I didn't let that ruin my time & still walked out with some wonderful pieces & a great experience.
10/10! My favorite shopping experience I have had & highly recommend if you...
Read moreI brought in a broken frame that I purchased late 2016 for warranty repair/replacement. One arm of my glasses simply broke off. I was quite shocked when it happened as the quality of these extremely expensive frames should be of a much higher level . The sales associate immediately made the assumption that I somehow broke the frames and that there would be a cost associated with the repair. I advised the sales associate that I did not do anything abnormal in the daily use of my glasses. I pick them up using the arm, and I take them off using the arm. I ended up speaking with the manager Marina Perez, who was very nice. I explained the situation and she said she would send them in to head office to try and get replaced as I believe i should not pay another penny to fix a defective frame that I already paid $800, 9 months prior. I received a call from Chrome Hearts that they require another $279 to replace the frame, which I assume is their dealer cost. I had no choice but to agree to the charges as the lenses made for those glasses cost $900. Lets just say I am extremely disappointed at the level of customer service I received from Chrome Hearts. I would hope that their level of support matched what good customers like me are willing to pay for their products. I have never submitted a review before, but I felt I had no choice considering how I feel about the way I have been treated. When I see that other quality frames are being sold at a tenth of the price and sometimes less, it really bothers me as I understand the margins in Chrome Hearts products. Even at $279 on the replacment, they are making huge margins AGAIN from me on the replacement of their defective...
Read moreSo I made an appointment for Chrome Hearts weeks in advance at the Miami location while on vacation, and I was highly excited to visit the site. The day of, I traveled and found parking in a residential area three blocks away, as parking on the main road can be hit-or-miss. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky that day. I made my way into the Miami Chrome Hearts store and saw an array of beautiful Chrome Hearts logos on the wall, ceiling, patio, and entrance. It was a sight to see for any Chrome Hearts fan. I quickly took some photos of the outside area, as photos inside of the merchandise aren't allowed. I made my way into the entrance and was greeted by a gentleman who told me my Chrome Hearts sales advisor would be with me. It took about six minutes for them to arrive, and when he did, he complimented me on my 'I Love NY' Chrome Heart shirt and told me all about what the Miami location had to offer, including a cafe, jewelry selection, kids' selection, and main apparel section. Giving a tour, he wanted me to take a glimpse of the jewelry section, which was a sight for sore eyes! Beautiful craftsmanship and clean detail to the jewelry, but I really came there for some good apparel pieces. Going to the final floor, there were tons of apparel, but when I inquired about certain sizes, it was sold out for me, so I was kind of bummed out, but still grateful to have had a great sales advisor and opportunity to tour the store. I would recommend fans of the brand visit this location, as it has a wide selection to offer and great...
