Worst DINING EXPERIENCE IN BRICKELL! I really wanted to love this place because of the cool eclectic vibe inside however, I would never go back to this place even if someone paid me to.
My family and I had made reservations to go here on a Saturday at 2pm after my son's graduation. We had a party of 9 guest. I really wanted to be seated outside and when making the reservation they told me that they couldn't reserve a party outside by the water because of the size of our party. That we could arrive day of and see if there was seating outside but most likely it would be busy and full. When we arrived the restaurant was basically empty and the outdoors had one table being serviced with 2 people. Our table had already been put together inside and I was told we could NOT be seated outside because of the size of our party (9). That was my 1st disappointment. Once seated they gave us all menu's and my husband received a lunch menu and he had decided on a steak salad and after comparing my menu to his I realized that my menu was a brunch menu was mainly breakfast items which were not appealing to eat at now 3pm to eat. My husband spoke to the manager and he stated that they only served the brunch menu at the time and that he could not accommodate his request for a salad when there was a wagu hamburger on the brunch menu. We both found that this restaurants inability to not accommodate his request when the restaurant was basically dead extremely unreasonable and unprofessional. My husband owns top rated restaurants in Boca and Delray Beach. He would never NOT accommodate a customer's request. Maybe that is why his restaurants are always booked full with lines of people waiting to enter his establishments. The owner should maybe take a lesson on this!
Let me continue with the atrocities! I ordered the cuban pork fajitas, the portions were completely inadequate looked like about 1/2 cup of quarter inch cubes of cooked hard dried pork, guacamole had mush of salsa that came with dish was about 2 Tablespoons worth with absolutely no flavor and about 3 or 4 tortillas. So basically the main part of my food could fit in the palm of my very small hand. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality and quantity. I could have gone anywhere and received fajitas that were better tasting than this, with appropriate portions. I literally ate 2 bites and didn't even touch the rest.
My son and mother had the eggs Benedict and the Hollandaise sauce was from a can because it was it was almost the color of a tangerine. Any chef from a decent culinary school knows that Hollandaise sauce should be cream colored with a hint of yellow to it not almost orange. The eggs Benedict was completely disgusting and the whites of the egg there completely runny and oozing! Everyone was starving so they ate small portions and left the rest behind. My husband was so angry about them not accommodating his request for salad when he was given the wrong menu to begin with, the salad being on the lunch menu and wagu burger being on brunch he ordered the Mediterranean antipasto which consisted on a plate of thrown together deli meats, cheese with very little amounts. The presentation was sloppy and the quality was subpar. The mortadella was disgusting piled all together on corner of small wood dish.
All in all the only good experience was the bar front of house where the staff was very accommodating. Besides that I would not waste my money on the food at all. It was low grade. Our server had a very difficult time understanding English, our party did speak Spanish and 6 other languages but, the point is to not hire staff that can't communicate effectively in English. I would give our server a 3 out of 10 for her slow service and inability to understand basic communication in English. If I was the owner I would concentrate on tapas about 10 of them and just drinks because that is what this establishment can do. Small portions with sauces to cover up the lack of cooking ability and drinks that are...
Read moreMy husband an I took the train from Orlando to Miami for our anniversary. It was a quick trip, just overnight for dinner and a show. There was a million choices for dinner in Miami, but after seeing the reviews we decided to give “Crazy About You” a try. Boy are we glad we did! From the moment we walked in we were impressed! The “vibe and ambiance” were just perfect. There was a very cool waiting eclectic lounge area to just chill and have drinks before dinner. The main dining room was posh and comfy.. with a modern twist. They had two levels of decks outside that overlooked the water with some of the best views of the Miami nighttime skyline- absolutely breathtaking! Our server, Rothman set the tone for an absolutely perfect experience. He was not only pleasant, he was knowledgeable, attentive and made some great recommendations for us. My husband started with an appetizer of huevos est rellados, and he raved about the flavor of this dish! He also enjoyed the tortellini with shrimp for his main course. Not a drop left! He said it was a perfect blend of flavors, the shrimp was large and cooked well and the dish was very savory. I had the Chilean Sea Bass with Cauliflower rice. Everything came out hot, cooked great and was no less than sheer perfection. Portions were good and honestly, I haven’t enjoyed fish like that ever. I may sound a bit dramatic, but I can promise you it was all that! We topped off the evening with an unexpected celebration of chocolate cake and coffee along with a nice chat from one of the staff, Flavia. She was sincere and genuine in her pursuit of diner satisfaction and so passionate to make sure we enjoyed our Anniversary dining experience. As patrons, we felt so appreciated for experiencing their venue, we felt celebrated for spending our Anniversary with them; and we are ever so grateful for the wonderful meal and service that created a forever special memory for our one night in Miami! “Crazy About You”fits… we ARE crazy about them and cannot wait to return again one day! It’s a 5-star plus review from us. Reasonably priced, perfect atmosphere, great menu, superb views, delicious food and GREAT staff and service. Honestly-what more could you want? Pick this place- you will be glad...

We found this gem of a place back in February when we were visiting Miami. One thing to note is that if you are coming on a weekend evening to expect a bit of a wait, but that being said they give you a timer on your phone so you can see where you are in line and how long you’ve been waiting. The time estimate they gave us was almost spot on, with us being sat a few minutes early.
Our server Yadanis was amazing and went above and beyond. From the first time she came to our table to the end she made us feel comfortable and excited about everything. She checked on us throughout our time there the right amount and gave great recommendations on the menu.
My partner got a drink and we loved the flare and festivity of it all when they brought it to the table.
The food itself was out of this world. For our appetizers we got the mahi fish dip, cornbread, and patatas bravas. Typically, I’m not a huge fan of fish but this dip was so good, and paired with the plantain chips it perfectly went together. The patatas bravas basically melted in your mouth and the dip for them was so yummy. Finally once you have their cornbread you understand why they are known for it. My partner had never found a cornbread he liked until this one. The butter on top melts perfectly into it and the texture of the bread is unlike any I’ve ever had before. It’s not too sweet and it’s far from dry. It was so hard not to fill up on appetizers because of how good they were.
For our main course I got the ribs and my partner got the salmon. As someone who is always looking to try new ribs I couldn’t believe how good these were. Not only were the ribs juicy but they fell right off the bone. The crunchy onions on top added so much and gave a great contrast of texture as you ate the ribs. My partner loved his salmon so much, and said t’s one of the best salmon dishes he’s ever had.
Overall this made the list of one of our must go to restaurants when we go to Miami. We can’t wait to come back. This place is an experience along with being a wonderful...
