I’m beyond frustrated with this place. We called three days in advance to confirm their hours for New Year’s Eve, and they assured us they’d be open until 10:30 pm with no issues. We even double-checked that they didn’t take reservations, so we planned accordingly. Had they told us the correct closing time, we 100% could’ve made sure to get there earlier. But when we showed up at 9:30 pm, the place was completely closed—no sign, no explanation, just a dark, locked door.
It’s incredibly unprofessional to mislead customers like this. They told us one thing and then just decided to close early without any warning. This completely ruined our night, and I won’t be coming back. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place!
I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a while, and I’ve always loved it. It’s been my go-to spot for a great meal, so I was especially excited to spend New Year’s Eve there. I specifically chose it because it’s within walking distance of my apartment, and with the Brickell/Downtown area being so hectic during this time with street closures and heavy traffic, I wanted to avoid any stress. I thought it would be the perfect, hassle-free option. But when I arrived, I was devastated to find they had closed earlier than they had communicated to us. It was an unnecessary inconvenience, especially from a place I’ve enjoyed and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at an extraordinary new spot in Brickell, and I can’t rave about it enough. The food is nothing short of spectacular—each dish is a unique culinary creation that combines innovative flavors with impeccable presentation. From the first bite to the last, the taste sensations are both surprising and delightful.
The service is equally impressive. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, and their deep knowledge of the menu ensures that each recommendation is spot-on. Their genuine enthusiasm for the food and dedication to making your dining experience exceptional are truly refreshing. Ask for Alanis if you want to feel like a VIP!
The ambiance is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The stylish decor creates a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for any occasion, whether it’s a special celebration or a casual meal out.
Having such a standout restaurant in Brickell is a game-changer for the area. It’s clear that this place will quickly become a gem of the neighborhood, and I am thrilled to have it so close. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on a truly unique dining experience that will leave you eagerly anticipating...
Read moreWhen Omakai first opened in wynwood during Covid it was outstanding. It was something Miami was missing- a casual Sugarfish style sit down place that was affordable. As time went on and they expanded to 4 locations including this handroll bar in Brickell the quality plummeted. If you are just a person who isn't into fish/sushi and you casually want to try this place it will do. If you eat sushi and can easily tell the difference in freshness avoid this place at all costs. Nothing is fresh. The wasabi is not creamy it is rocky. The ginger is so old it has brown edges on it. The fish...forget it. They scoop out the fish from a chipotle style chef set up where everything is mushed. If you been to a good handroll bar in LA or NY like Kazuhiro you will be extremely disappointed with this place. Btw the rice has to be warm to contrast with the cold fish. Not...
