I usually don’t like writing reviews, but I had to write a review because the owner lied to me. I was a frequent customer here, but after this situation. I will no longer order from this restaurant. I purchased a pizza on 2/14/24, and the taste was terrible. I usually don’t like to complain, but the taste was awful, and the pizza was pricy. I wanted to let them know because maybe the sausage was old or something was wrong with the sausage. I picked up the pizza and tried one slice, and I couldn’t even continue to eat it. I called the restaurant's owner, and I told him about the taste of the pizza, and he said he would refund me the money and send me a new pizza to my house for free. I told him I was so hungry I couldn’t wait. He kept insisting to order the pizza that it would be on the house. So I ordered the cheese pizza, and when I noticed it was on a DoorDash order, you must pay fees plus tip. I ordered because the owner told me it would be for free. Yesterday evening, Friday the 8th of September, my sister and I, we had the pleasure of visiting “Capriccio Blue Lagoon” for dinner for the first time. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff and seated by a most gracious and professional waiter by the name of Fernando. He explained the menu to us in great detail and the preparation involved in every dish. We were very pleased by the atmosphere and decor and the charm of the entire place. We ordered 2 beers and decided on ordering 2 pizzas. I had the Roma pizza and my sister had the Brooklyn pizza. We both ordered the small sizes, and we were surprised by the big portions. We couldn’t finish our pizzas and brought some home. I must confess that the pizza at Capriccio is the most delicious pizza I ever had in Miami before. Just incredible…. Fernando made our visit very special with his kindness and professionalism and we can’t wait to go back real soon. “Capriccio” is a jewel of a restaurant not to be missed by those who truly enjoy good Italian food. We highly recommend it.
