A Memorable Brunch Day at Miami’s Finest Spot La industria Bakery.
Last weekend, my friends and I had the pleasure of visiting one of Miami’s top brunch spots, and the experience was truly exceptional. Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant seamlessly blends a relaxed atmosphere with exquisite cuisine, making it a perfect choice for a lazy Sunday brunch.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff who guided us to our table with warmth and enthusiasm. The interior decor had a trendy yet cozy vibe, with plenty of natural light streaming through large windows. The ambiance was vibrant, and the chatter of happy diners created a lively atmosphere.
The brunch menu was a delightful fusion of classic favorites and inventive dishes. From the moment we perused the extensive offerings, we knew we were in for a treat. Our server was knowledgeable and guided us through the menu, helping us select dishes that suited our preferences.
To start our brunch adventure, we ordered a round of freshly squeezed juices and a selection of house-made pastries. The juices were bursting with flavor, and the pastries were impeccably baked.
For the main course, we indulged in a variety of dishes that showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. The boricua burger were a true highlight, perfectly cook angus beef meat resting on a bed of freshly bake bread , smothered in a velvety in house sauce. The avocado toast, topped with heirloom tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic reduction, was a refreshing and satisfying option. We also couldn’t resist trying the chef’s special omelette of the day, which was packed with flavorful ingredients and cooked to perfection.
The portions were generous, ensuring that we left the restaurant feeling happily satiated. Throughout our meal, the attentive staff regularly checked in on us, ensuring that our dining experience was exceptional from start to finish.
What truly sets this brunch spot apart is its commitment to sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were vibrant, and every bite showcased the care and passion that went into each dish. It was evident that the culinary team embraced creativity while staying true to the essence of traditional brunch favorites.
As we concluded our meal, we couldn’t resist indulging in some sweet treats from the dessert. We tried the tiramisu and Oreo pancakes 🥞.
In addition to the outstanding food, the service we received was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and displayed an evident passion for their craft. They made us feel like valued guests throughout our visit, and their attention to detail elevated the entire dining experience.
Overall, our brunch experience at this Miami gem surpassed all expectations. The delicious food, inviting ambiance, and impeccable service left an indelible mark on our weekend. Read moreExpectations vs reality. I came in to the restaurant because of the high rating, was pleased with the menu and all day served breakfast. I did have to draw server’s attention because I wasn’t acknowledged for some time since I sat down. When I ordered mofongo with angus, the server brought me plastic fork and knife. I said that I don’t eat with plastic and asked for the normal silverware. The server explained that they served plastic because I’m sitting outside, but still brought real silverware out. I did order coffee, which was brought in the plastic cup as well. My expectations were different, because I saw the pictures from the restaurant with coffee served in mugs and I do love my cappuccino in a mug. I was again told that it’s because I’m sitting outside and they don’t have a dishwasher. But when I was served the main dish in a to-go plastic box, I was totally frustrated. so, apparently, the restaurant is open only on Monday, and because it was Saturday they served only plastic in the café. I just wish I was explained properly what kind of service I would get before I sat down. I enjoy my meal looking as good as it tastes, that’s why I go to beautiful restaurants to experience nicely served food, and tasting great. I did ask for a manager, and the manager finally explained all the peculiarities to me. They did replace all my food onto the plate and made it look a bit closer to the picture on the menu which I appreciated. They also don’t have a restroom on premises when the restaurant is closed, you would need to go a block down to use the restroom. And since I spoke to the manager, no one ever came up to me. Nobody asked me if I needed anything, any more water, asking how I liked the food. I was totally ignored. I had to call the waiter myself when I was ready for a check. I have to say that the Mofongo with beef was delicious, I just wish the service would be as good as the food and I’m very frustrated that I didn’t have a good experience just because of plastic service. I am pretty sure if I came back to dine in the restaurant, I would be much more pleased. Also, I have no idea how they would expect me to eat that beef with plastic fork and knife, I could hardly cut it with the...
Read moreThis place is gorgeous! It is very appealing for the eyes, beautiful decorations that make you feel welcome.
Our server was Camila, what a sweet girl. Always with a smile and very knowledgeable about the menu.
The food, Oh My God! Delicious! Huge portions. Good plate presentation.
I ordered the Surf and Turf and this was amazing. The flavor of the mashed plantains and the creamy white sauce were unique. The steak was cook on point according to my request.
I tried other plates to taste, and the mofongo was really good. In my opinion the garlic was on point because sometimes they add so much garlic that the other flavors get lost in your palate. This one was very good.
I also taste the Tripleta Explosion. It sounded very good. It wasn’t bad, but it’s not my style. I think the fried cheese that goes covering the sandwich was like too much ‘fried food’ flavor. Too much oil for me, I mean, the cheese already has fat. My brother liked it. If I have to eat a sandwich maybe I’d go with the regular Tripleta.
The arepas had a delicious and good amount of stuffing.
The pancakes were huge but very good!! I liked that they were not too sweet. So, when combine with the toppings, the sweet still allows you to taste the plate.
We tried the mint lemonade, you gotta give a try to this! It’s so good and refreshing.
To finish, I ordered a milhoja. It was ok. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that fresh because it was from the morning and I was there around 10pm. So, I would say to try earlier during the day.
I’m not rating 5 stars because: I think they need a bigger restroom (it’s a 1 person restroom) because there’s always a line. Or at least a second one. My milhoja wasn’t fresh and I’m not from Miami so, I won’t taste it fresh anytime soon. Three of us wanted to try the stuffed avocado and they...
