Morgans Restaurant — Restaurant in Miami

So we visit today for brunch and it was terrible. The only reason you get 1 star is the food was amazing.. First, I sit down with my boyfriend and no one came to greet us. No one came to take our order. We were waiting for two other friends and when the two other friends came, it seems as if they did not have a waiter or waitress for our table. Finally, someone came over and took a drink order it to 30+minutes for a drink order to come to us no one came back to take our food order final. We saw a lovely long-haired African-American lady and ask her if she could take her order for us she said her shift is about over but she’ll be happy to she took our order another 30-40 minutes no food mind you the lady or the gentleman who is supposed to be our waitress was walking around he came, took the white ladies order which was sitting in the table next to us(she came and asked us). She got her food in less than 10 minutes. We still not get our food. We saw the young lady African-American long hair, (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) she ask you did not get your food? Let me check on it. Guess what she came back with our food. Once again, the food was great. I don’t know who was supposed to be our waiter or waitress at our table, but I know they were a disgrace. This young lady who shift about to end iactually place our order go get our order and check on us..a waiter who I guess was supposed to be our waiter came by and ask us if we want to go containers? SHAME on you, we said yes and the check please. He came back with a to go plate and no check and disappear again we saw that nice African-American young lady and she got our check for us. Needless to say we gave her a very huge tip $$$ I just want management or cooperate know that if it wasn’t for this young lady you would’ve had zero stars. Please make sure that all your waiters and waitresses treat every customer black or...

Friends and I were visiting Miami for a day or so walked to this place before we were to leave town.. We were seated behind a door that ppl were constantly coming out of. We asked to be seated outside afterwards, no harm no foul. We have drink orders, food, all of that. Water is tap. Mimosas were ok. Food gets to the tables. Everyone's food is fine and looks good. I ordered an omelet with bacon. Start eating, its bland, absolutely NO flavor. Had to wait like 10 minutes for condiments. Or for the waitress to come back to ask her to get condiments for us. I continue to eat and can't taste any bacon because well at LEAST bacon has flavor. There's no bacon. Open the omelet. Still no bacon. Calls waitress to confirm she told the cooks I wanted bacon. She says yes, goes to check, comes back, cook say its diced really fine. Who dices bacon?! I guess they do when they lie about adding it. So ok now I open the omelet for the WAITRESS to see. Which I shouldn't have had to do in the first place. She sees no bacon goes back. Theyre still telling her they put it there. Asked to speak to the manager. Nope, they send her back to say THEYRE convinced there's bacon in my omelet so they're not coming. The omelet they don't see, haven't come out to see, REFUSED to come out to see or speak to me about. And on top of that she says th manager had left for the day so i couldn't speak to them.. what manager leaves for DAY before 5 o clock?! Mind you its only about 2 230 latest. Bottom line I asked her to take that off my tab. Now after ALL. Of that She offered to have them cook it and give it to me on the side. They told her no and that I'd have to have it remade completely but not on the side. Ive never gone to a restaurant and felt so disgusted by the service. I will never come back there, if Jesus himself goes, I won't be in attendance. If you can avoid this place for brunch or anything...

I was completely flabbergasted when I walked in. My daughter and I were there on vacation. The first thing I see is a ceiling which looks like the tiles are fixing to come down on top of your head, the tables are old, chipped and scratched up, which if you blow up the picture and concentrate on the table, you'll see just how bad of shape these tables were in. The male waiter was nice, But definitely needed better customer service skills and listening skills. I had to ask him and another female three times for some ice throughout the meal, when I had originally asked for the ice water and extra ice at the beginning of when we sat down to order the drinks. I chose coffee with the ice water, and they did have a sugar caddy that had a fake type sugar I had never seen before, that took eight of the little baggies and it still wasn't even sweetened at all 😯🙄😡🧐 I finally had to put two of the regular sugar bags in there which I was trying to avoid. I ended up getting two eggs with cheese and I'm going to say a half of a large baking potato sliced up that was fried,& toast and then my daughter got some pancakes along with her other breakfast items, and shockingly, the bill came to 80 some odd dollars, with an 18% tip added on whether you wanted to do it or not. I went ahead and paid the tip and still went ahead and left $10 on the table since we were on vacation and I have been a waitress and I know how hard it is. They had no business, and now I know why. Not only is the place completely outdated and looks horrible, but you're forcing someone to pay a tip to people that are not professional enough to be awarded that type of tip. I definitely would not recommend...
