My first visit to this restaurant with my family to enjoy some vegan food just like we do every Sunday . My 5 year old daughter is a picky eater so I asked the cashier taking my order if the Mac and cheese looked like the non vegan option . Weâve been plenty of places and that is our first question to everyone . At this point the cashier states â it sells out everyday â my question wasnât answered correctly . I ignored and ordered it anyway . Mistake , ordered a pulled jack fruit sandwich, the best burger in America ,picadillo bowl, and decided to order a chocolate cake. All their sauces were unlabeled which caused my daughter to grab a red bottle thinking it was ketchup and poured it on her Mac and cheese and immediately burned her mouth for the remainder or our visit . Stood up and informed the cashier of the situation and she just stared at me . The cook offered a new bowl . Comes back to my table with nearly all the food gone and still some hot sauce on the plate . At this time I was already annoyed by the horrible customer service. And told them to just forget the plate and take it away ! (Anywhere else they would just replace the plate or offer a refund ) . Gave my daughter the cake to make up for the burning sensation . She ate all the cake which now I kinda feel bad because when I grabbed some with my fingers I felt a weird tugging coming from a cake . Well it was a strand of hair . PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE ! There are so many other great tasting and better treating vegan restaurants in Miami . Which care about their customers and not just the damn MONEY . I spoke clearly to the manager about this situation and told them this review was coming so there should be no surprise . No gift card for future visit can help with the horrible situation my 5 year had to deal with .. they were quicker to label their bottle than to offer any kind of assistance or resolution to HER situation .
My reply to you the ignorant business owner that doesnât know how to read ! Iâve been to mostly all the vegan places in Miami , from GLAM to choices cafe , to roots kitchen and Charleyâs taco.all have gave me excellent service and great atmosphere.. perhaps you should source better employees and ingredients.and invest in hair nets since Iâm not the first to complain about nasty hairs from your employees in the food . You are a disrespectful disgusting woman going after my kids !! .obviously you must not have any with those manners. I was being polite saying not to worry . If you have anything else to say Iâm more than happy to sit down and tell you this to your face like I did youâre...
Read moreTruthfully, I wanted to rate this as three stars due to the service but the food made up for it. First things first there is no type of customer to server interaction. Not a pinch of a personality what do ever was experienced and itâs a shame because the place is so beautiful. The cooks looked like they enjoyed what they were doing but the servers just gave off energy as though todayâs wasnât their day. But nonetheless, letâs get into the topic of food! I had a gigantic variety of options to choose from because I wanted to try as much as I could and show you what the food was all about. So I had the following: Just Egg and Cheese Croissanwich, Side of Meatless Meatballs , Mac & Cheese , Carrot Cake and Thai Curry Rolls . The Crossainwich was breath taking ! Incredibly bigger than I expected , the Justegg was well seasoned and made to perfection I also added avocado which made it 10 times better , the potatoes that it came with couldâve been cooked a tad bit longer to give a little crunch but regardless I added a pinch of pink Himalayan salt and devoured it . The meatless meat balls was a bit shocking for me only because I carelessly assumed it would be beyond beef but it was bean based which I wasnât mad at , due to the fact Iâve had bean based burgers before but it was a bit weird with the marinara sauce , luckily I used some Mac & cheese to add to the meatless meatballs and created a great concoction that masked the grittiness of the balls. Definitely would recommend. The Mac And cheese alone was pretty good not upset with it at all loved the consistency , creaminess and the flavoring absolutely delectable. The Thai Curry Rolls I would say was a bit interesting for me only due to the texture and the flavor of the curry . The curry was overpowering and took away from the beautiful assortment of veggies in the roll itself but adding some soy sauce truly made it chefs kiss and the perfect balance . Last but not least the carrot cake , the first bite Iâll admit I felt as though it was basic but the more bites kept taking I was slowly falling into a trance and truth be told that was an amazing carrot cake best Iâve have thus far . Love Life Cafe has been crown best vegan carrot cake by me ! The food was amazing the ambience was great , such beautiful lighting beaming into the restaurant. I truly wish the energy of the employees was just as amazing as the...
