As a New Yorker with high pizza standards, this is the only place I will go in Miami for high quality, authentic pizza.
We've tried slices of the cheese, bacon, pepperoni, and white pizzas. All of them were incredibly tasty.
The ingredients feel much higher quality/cleaner than other pizza spots in Miami. The slices aren't overly greasy. Crusts are super airy with just the right amount of crunch/softness.
They also have this beautiful outdoor dining area that is covered by a canopy and has Italy-themed decorations.
The owner, Claudio, and his wife are super sweet and clearly know their stuff when it comes to pizza. I'm surprised not many folks know about this place yet. It is a top knotch, true mom and pop shop in a city that desperately needed a solid, authentic pizza option.
My family and I are now regular customers there. If you're tired of Miami's sub-par pizza offerings, I highly recommend you...
Read moreI enjoy pizza but I'm not crazy about it because I worked at a pizza place in my youth and I've had my fill; however, I honestly look forward to eating at Casa Roma. I've tried SEVERAL of their pizza varieties and haven't been disappointed yet.
The flavors and aromas are fantastic while being affordable enough to visit often. I have to mention that the quality is exceptionally high due to the fact that I can eat here and not feel like I consumed a ton of sodium or greasy food. The ingredients always taste fresh.
A huge plus is that I feel welcome every time I visit. I'm greeted like I'm not just another customer and it might seem like a small thing but appreciate it. The interior is small but kept clean. It has a cozy, family feel to it. It can be a bit tricky to find the location the first time you visit because it feels kinda hidden. It can really use a large sign out front to let folks...
Read moreI never would have thought to come across this quaint, unassuming pizzeria around the Allapattah neighborhood. But I'm glad I did. The Italian gentleman running the pizzeria serves AMAZING pizza, especially his funghetto (cremini mushroom) pizza, which is my personal favorite. Each bite is crunchy and bursting with flavor. The prosciutto is the next I recommend. It's served sandwich style and tastes oh so fresh and yummy (definitely not the usual prosciutto you buy at the supermarket.)
It's high quality pizza with high quality ingredients at an affordable price. I cannot recommend this place enough. A true diamond in the rough, and will definitely be coming...
