Crunly Churros and Ice Cream — Restaurant in Miami

I booked Crunly for my daughter's first birthday party this past Sunday 5/23/21. I booked them two months prior to the event. I even communicated with them two days before the party to confirm. Party started at 11AM, and they were supposed to be there at the same time.

11:30AM comes and goes with no word from Crunly. So I call them. The girl who I have been talking with answered and said they had an issue with the battery in their truck, and I asked how long they would take to be at our party, and she said 20 minutes. Not great, but okay, things happen.

12PM noon comes and goes, with no word from Crunly. Again, I call and she says they're still having battery issues. I understand things happen but up to this point I was the one reaching out trying to find out what's up, not them being proactive. I tell them not to come anymore as she says she's 30 minutes away, and the battery wasn't even fixed yet and the party would be over at that point.

At 1PM, after the party, I called to find out when they would be refunding my deposit. In the background, I heard kids music and kids screaming. I asked the lady several times if they were at another party instead and and she wouldn't answer my questions. I suspect they were at another party or event this whole time, ruining my daughter's first birthday party, along with embarrassing me in front of my guests.

While Crunly is delicious, the way they handled the situation was beyond disgusting and the potential that they lied to me just to make an extra buck elsewhere made it worse. Stay away from booking them for your event, they are not trustworthy...

BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! I hired them for a catering event at my daughter’s birthday. They were paid in full before the service. They were hired from 7-8pm and were set to arrive at 6:30pm for set up. It was 7:15pm and no one was here!! I called via IG and they told me “party?? Nooo” ummm yessss. Then gave me a story that they were running behind when I called them back after 10 mins of still not hearing from them. They did not start serving until 8:15 pm!!!!!!!! A full hour and 15 mins after their contracted time!!!! I asked for a refund of 50% of my payment and a phone call from the owner. I have not received either. They were an hour and 15 mins late …. The party ran super late and got the timing all messed up because of them FORGETTING my event that I paid IN FULL and they do not have the decency to call back or offer any compensation. I will continue to inform my family and friends NOT to do business with this company. I will post on all social media accounts. This is NOT how business should run own up to YOUR mistake!!! How ...

This company has the absolute worse customer service that I have ever experienced. On approximately 3 separate occasions, they arrived 2 hours late. They were scheduled for 4-8 and arrived at 6 each time. When I inquired where they were they blew me off and said they were almost there, ultimately arriving later then they described. They never have all of the items on their menu...pistachio, almonds and coconut which is quite disappointing. They are incredibly rude and will completely ignore customers while inside of their food truck. After placing an order that I made they provided half of the items and avoided eye contact with me as I stood outside just waiting. They are unprofessional, childish and rude. I do NOT recommend...
