Head to Ni.Do. Caffe to experience truly warm Italian hospitality and authentic Italian fare. This charming eatery was the 4th destination for myself and my fellow Biscayne Corridor neighbors on our inaugural Restaurant Crawl through the MiMo district of Biscayne Boulevard last Sunday night. Ni.Do's staff were waiting for us with a happy cheer the second we crossed the threshold! Platters piled high with a selection of several meats, cheeses, camponata, mixed olives and cherry tomatoes were set out for us at the bar, wine bottles were uncorked and the feasting began! Ni.Do. crafts its own cheeses and you can tell. The full-bodied flavor and texture of the buffalo mozzarella and burrata are worth a trip alone. These cheeses melt in your mouth! The prosciutto and carpaccio were perfection - savory, salty, the delicate flavors really stood out. Our server, Veronica, was incredible! She made us feel as if we were in her own home. She was so attentive and concerned that we were being fed and fed and fed some more! Service here is genuine and warm and home grown.
Ni.Do. Caffe is located on the east side of Biscayne Boulevard on the corner of 73rd street. It has parking at the front but street parking is easily found nearby. The airy, canopied outdoor terrace and timeless feel of the high-ceilinged, beautifully appointed interior makes this lovely eatery feel spacious yet intimate at the same time. Immerse yourself in legendary Italian hospitality upon entering - it is a paean to Italy.
Many thanks to Drago who organized Ni.Do's participation in our inaugural Restaurant Crawl - you are the bomb! Our night was truly memorable and we had such a fun time. No wonder Ni.Do. Caffe is always bustling - your fine reputation proceeds you. Expect us back to sample more of your...
Read moreVery disappointing experience. Made reservations for Valentines day and was looking forward to eating here. The place is very cute and has that little hidden restaurant feel but when we arrived we found out that they had a select menu. They did not advertise this on their google page, where tons of people are looking to make reservations for this special day or on their actual website. They only had it on their Instagram which I do not even have and if they are going to advertise it on their, they should at least add a link on their google page for people to see. I'm sure lots of other people were disappointed by this as well. Not everyone has an Instagram and I checked it afterwards online and they only has JUST posted it only 1 day before Valentines day. Not only that but we arrived at 5, being the only people sitting at tables the rest were empty and 3 cops eating at the bar and 2 waitresses talked to us apologizing about the incident and the manager was just there standing and walking around but did not even come talk to us , she should have come up to us to apologize and take responsibility for this and the error she made and not her employees who clearly felt bad for us. We left the restaurant and trying to see where we could go eat so...
Read moreThis now one of my favorite places to go. OMG! Food is just exquisite, giving you a sense of flavors rich of nature, heritage, love and sympathy. The ingredients dance in your mouth like an elegant ball dance. You can enjoy of each of them at every bite.
I just loved it! I hope to be back soon. We started asking for the appetizer special: lamb carpaccio with tuna and cappers sauce, the we had the risotto with the lobster and clamps, both to die for.
But wait, so so good!...The dessert, was something to cry fo it, we asked for the cake with pistachio and caramel liquor sauce. It was spectacular!!
The service is excellent, we had a confusion with our server and he didn’t bring the appetizer, because he thought we just asked for the main course. But we were so sad because he described the appetizer so good, that we were dreaming with, and at the middle of the dinner the owner came and give us as courtesy the famous week special appetizer. So nice from her.
Please enjoy of a nice dinner at this delicious family own restaurant at...
