I stopped by Barsecco for Happy Hour and was really happy with my experience especially our waiter Orlando made it unforgettable! First off, their daily happy hour in food & drinks can't be beat. We had a few appetizers, Bellini's, Pomm Spritz & Moscow Mule plus a free glass of Prosecco if you check in on Yelp. The pours were generous for $6.00. You can also check them out for brunch as they have unlimited Mimosa on Saturday & Sunday. Their Calamari hit the spot but the portion was pretty small for a shared plate. We also opted a few pizza's which were great for sharing but were pretty bland in flavor. I was hoping for stronger flavor in all. The only downside is due to the popularity the staff is spread thin and a little slow upon delivering the items to the table. Hookah is available upon request, music is amazing which reminds me how Segafredo was back in the day. If you have some time to chill I highly recommend stopping by Barsecco for Happy Hour. Make sure you request Orlando as your waiter as he won't be a disappointment for a good time!

Barsecco is on SE 14th St, in Brickell, about a 10 minutes walk south-east of the Brickell station on the Metrover. I really like the décor inside, tropical with an interesting twist. They have outdoor sitting as well. The service at the bar was surprisingly slow, in spite of the fact that we went during the week and there was nobody else sitting there, although they did have a few patrons outdoor. No big deal, though; drinks were good, I liked my Espresso Martini and the regular Martini was also pretty well done. My wife enjoyed her Berrytini, very flavorful without being too sweet. Now, listen up: in Happy Hours those cocktails are $ 6.95!! For us coming from West Palm Beach it was like winning the lottery! Can’t get a decent glass of wine for that price around here. Not bad, speaking of happy hours, also the calamari and the serrano croquettes, good bites also at $ 6.95. This place was a great discovery and we will return (sounds like a threat..) next time we’re in Miami downtown, which probably will be in a few weeks.

Horrible service. Where to start? Firstly, we had a reservation for a table at 8:30pm for 18 people. There were 2 minors in our party. The rest were adults. When we arrived they told us that our party could not drink at all because there were two minors. No where in barseccos website does it say that minors cannot enter past a certain time first of all. Second of all, the hosts told us that it is a Florida Law that minors cannot enter bars without a parent or legal guardian. This is FALSE. Minors can enter and sit in any bar as long as accompanied by an adult OVER 21. It would be a different story if the companies policy said differently… but no where in the companies policy is this explicitly stated. Very rude attitude in explaining this. Secondly, let me restate we reserved a TABLE for 18 PEOPLE. They sat us in the corner of the outside lounge on some lawn chairs with tables where we had to hunch over to eat and try not to spill our food. There were MULTIPLE open high tables and chairs and they refused to sit us at a regular table. Insisting that they were reserved. In the 2 hrs we were there those tables outside remained empty. My question is, even if they did have reservations, what makes those reservations of 10 people deserve an actual table over us? A party of 18 people with a reservation at an earlier time. The service was unacceptable and subpar. The male hosts/managers/bouncers whatever they were, had a horribly nasty attitude and basically made up laws that didn’t exist. If you’re expecting a dining restaurant experience with a nice vibe, maybe skip this place. Side note: Our server Andrea was very kind and attentive:)

Not very sure how to feel after my dining experience at Barsecco. Upon booking a reservation, we were notified that the dress code was formal although upon arriving there were several other patrons dressed casually so I’m not sure why this dress code was even mentioned. The staff was not very professional or friendly, and at one point the servers/bartenders were being extremely unprofessional and flirty with each other at the bar. Actual dining experience was okay, our server was not very attentive and didn’t bring us water until after our food had arrived, despite asking multiple times beforehand. The food itself was amazing!! Rather small and limited menu, which was quite pricy — but the wagyu tacos were one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. The ahi tuna was quite amazing too. The sea bass was very tasty, but had rather large bones in it. After dining, we wanted to enjoy a hookah outside and I pointed out a table that we wanted but we were told that we weren’t allowed because there would be too many hookahs next to each other and so we were seated elsewhere. Moments later, another party is seated with a hookah in the same table I had asked for. We asked for water and were told that we had to pay because they don’t serve free water outside for some reason? $30 for a glass bottle of water that probably costs $3. What a rip off — I’d skip the hookah unless you want to pay $90 for hookah and water.

Tables and chairs don’t line up so you have to bend down to eat the whole time. Server took a long time to greet us at the table to the point a manager had to point us out for her to come to us. Then she doesn’t even say her name or nothing just “sorry, are you ready to order?” The online menu shows they have captain crunch French toast but she said they don’t have that anymore, they have a new menu. Not too many brunch options on their menu and we were looking forward to the captain crunch French toast they advertised. The food was mediocre. The French toast was super dry and thick. The breakfast sandwich was also super dry and the ham smelled and taste weird like it was old. The waitress came to our table to check on us after we were already done waiting on the bill. We get the bill and it’s a 18% service charge added. We were a table of 2 so not sure what this service charge is for. Would be nice to let customers now before they order like on the menu or just increase your item prices by 18% if business is that bad for you. Of course they have tip options on top of that after you swipe card. Service was poor, food was mediocre, the only thing that was good was the bacon and the potatoes and the DJ that was playing good music. Don’t come here for brunch or you will be disappointed. Would I come here again? No.

Is NOT what it was before. Went Las Saturday Night place empty music horrible, setting dark, uncomfortable chair tiny table. Ordered a Salmon for $29 + tax + tip included and I got 6 little pieces of Salmon that’s it!!! Not even the whole filet. 6 little pieces!!!! Nobody came to check on me if it was correct, good or bad. Nothing. So decided to flag someone to get my check. They charge me $60 for that and a glass of sangria. When I finally speak with the waitress I told her the salmon HAD NO SALMON!! She left to speak with a man ( who was just behind speaking in Cuban Spanish) Then he approached me not even introducing himself, but to questioning me if I eat or not the plate. Then the waitress proceeded to to charge anyways without saying apologies or offering something else or a not even a discount!!! Este lugar está regenteado por Cubanos que no saben nada de Hospitalidad. Me fui inmediatamente a BAIRES Grill!! Much better service, food quality, cheaper and running by HUMANS
