Me and my husband found this place thanks ratings from google maps. It’s definitely cool spot where to go if you have your hotel nearby. Exactly in front of the bakery there is a tourist bus stop :). You can buy a ticket from a lovely girl. We have a typical Cuban breakfast. What I would advise to bring this bakery to another level is a glass of water. We had it in a different spot:) cheaper one, but not here. Also we had a steel 🍴cutlery. In another please. @party bakery we received a plastic fork. The coffee was a good one! I appreciate that. There had a small sandwich we loved it. The bread outside was little sweet and the ham and cheese salty. Nice combination. The crochetta was also delusion and it is must to try it. I found that the party cake bakery is a start and must visit place in a little Havana area. 🐓. So around this place there are typical chickens walking around and stealing your food :) they also flies to your table :) pay attention and protect your food 😅. That’s can be little stressful 😩.
I was impressed with the story of the bakery :) you will find it detailed in one of the walls. It’s a very inspired story. Maybe someone can explain me why there is many names “ Olga” in Cuba? I have my thoughts 💭 like coming from Russian communism…

Read moreGave this place two shots. First visit was mistaken for a tourist and treated to great customer service as well as an extra dine or mandatory gratuity for my tiny take out order. My bill clearly had some sort of extra fee on it so thats what I assumed it was and didnt mind due to the good customer service. Second visit I was treated as a local and charged for exactly what I ordered down to the penny while dining in strangely but when I noticed my drink was made wrong and my second drink was totally forgotten about I mentioned it to the young female cashier (who did not take my order,) she instantly became rude and defensive and reprimanded me for ordering my drink wrong and instructed me to order my drink right next time. Im pretty sure I ordered my drink correctly since my preference of no sugar in my cortadito is for medical reasons but got served undrinkable sugary milk. Absolutely everything about this place & its offerings is forgettable, underwhelming and not worth the 50/50 chance of being treated kindly or being treated like the trash that surrounds the outdoor seating area. There are way too many gems in the Calle Ocho area to waste a visit on this mediocre place. Skip it, local & tourist alike do youreself a favor...
Read moreParty cake is great to bring people from out of town or to enjoy a quick breakfast. Delicious and fresh bread, juices, coffee, and pastry items. The quality is at its best before noon. I recommend trying the ham and cheese croquettas, guava and cheese pastry, Cuban bread loaf, tostada, cheese pastry, spinach roll, fruit tarte, mango smoothie, cafe con leche, and empanadas. Sometimes, quality can also vary.
However, I find the employees to be careless. They write down the order on a paper only the cashier keeps. As a result, they often forget items and you have to remind them what you ordered. This causes confusion as they think you’re ordering more. Also, I find myself having to tell them multiple times about an order. I try to speak to them in Spanish- sometimes they listen, other times they don’t or just don’t care to be professional. The bakery is in a tourist area and gets a lot of traffic. So be prepared to be in long lines during the day. But it’s fun to be amongst the people, makes it more lively. You’ll be satisfied with the food, just have low expectations for...
