We were served by Alejandro A., who was polite but clearly lacked proper service technique and attention to detail. The restaurant’s decor follows the same interior design formula as many of the newer spots in Miami—stylish, but ultimately indistinguishable from the rest. The only standout feature was the bar, which I found visually appealing.

Unfortunately, the lighting was among the worst aspects—far too dim to fully appreciate the food. We had the Truffle Fettuccine and Spaghetti Al Pacino. Both dishes were well executed, and we enjoyed a bottle of Torres Celeste Crianza from Ribera del Duero to accompany the meal.

That said, I must point out a growing but problematic trend: the automatic inclusion of gratuity on the bill. Regardless of how common it's becoming, I believe it undermines the freedom of the guest to tip based on service. Including tax and tip, we paid $159—perhaps excessive for two pasta dishes and a...

If you want your date night ruined, go to Serafina.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was a disaster. No one greets you, and the hostess had a rude, dismissive attitude — zero warmth or professionalism. They advertise a happy hour from 5–7pm outside, but once inside, they pretend it doesn’t exist and do everything possible to hide it. We were handed a happy hour menu by mistake, only for the hostess to snatch it back awkwardly without explanation.

After asking three times, we finally got the correct menu — no apology, just more attitude. The staff seems untrained and confused, and it took nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The whole vibe was off. To top it all off, a fire alarm went off mid-meal.

Terrible service, shady practices, and zero hospitality. Never...

Absolutely amazing customer service! I’ll definitely be back.

Funny enough, I hadn’t planned to stop in that night. I was actually headed to my favorite spot nearby. As I walked past, I noticed a young lady through the window with the warmest, most genuine smile. I instantly felt that this was a place with great energy and even better service.

I decided to walk in, was kindly greeted at the door, and made my way to the bar. To my surprise, the same smiling face, Alexis welcomed me again. I told her that it was because of her positive vibe that I decided to come in.

Thank you, Alexis, for your kindness! You’re the reason I visited, and definitely the reason I’ll return.

Everyone else I interacted with was just as pleasant and welcoming.

Highly recommend Serafina Works...

The truffle pizza has a thin crust and is served in a relatively large portion, but it’s extremely greasy. I’ve never had a pizza like this in my life — I couldn’t finish it because of how oily it was. The red wine was served extremely warm, completely undrinkable. But honestly, I should have noticed it earlier: there’s a wine cellar where the bottles are displayed under very strong lighting — inside the cellar itself. That alone should have been a red flag. Despite the beautiful decor, it’s clear the place doesn’t really understand wine, since storing bottles like that can easily ruin them. I’m giving 2 out of 5 stars — and not just 1 — because the waiter genuinely did his best.

Look, the food and service were amazing but I the reason I put three stars is because I have never been charged for the ICE in my drink. I’m used to Miami prices but being charged 2 dollars for ice?! It was genuinely shocking, most of all is the fact that I did not even ask for more ice. It was an Aperol Spritz, a drink which already comes with ice in it. They didn’t have a drink menu yet which I understand because it’s new but I still think it was unacceptable. That was a new low for Miami restaurants, being charged for ice… the only good thing from that situation was that I have a new story to tell for ice breakers.
