This is one painful review to write because as a Brickell resident who loves chicken, I really wanted to like a restaurant with such a great name. Rest assured I would not be writing this review if the food was mediocre. I only give places either 1- or 5-star reviews.
So, let’s begin. I went there for the first time 2 weeks ago. I got the rotisserie chicken, and it was bland. No condiments, no salt, and full disclosure here, I usually follow a low sodium diet so for me to say this, it is saying a lot.
I sat in front of my computer then ready to write but then I remembered that other chicken restaurants do have bad rotisserie but great fried chicken, so I went back a second time and tried their fried version. I honestly hoped that it would at least be ok so I would not have to write a review at all, but alas here I am again.
If the rotisserie version was like someone bathed the chicken in nothing but water and added no condiments before cooking it. The fried version was as if they did the same but then went to Publix, got Doritos crushed them, mixed it in a bag and then dipped it in oil.
After this insipid experience I began to wonder that maybe I needed a break from chicken altogether but then on Super Bowl Sunday my friends and I got wings at Wing Stop and fell in love with the avian family all over again.
I really had high hopes for T.I.T.T.S. and I hope the business owners will read this review and take it as constructive criticism. It was not written with malice. I wish all small business nothing but success. They still have time to make the necessary changes to survive in a spot that has opened and closed more in the last decade than the Brickell Bridge...

REDEMPTION
After my review, the staff at Titts invited me to try their place again. This time I went in person and went with the bowl which was delicious. The team there was genuinely friendly and kind. Furthermore, I learned that the name TITTS which I though was a play on female breasts actually stands for This is there time social and that the rest is engaged with programs to help with mental health and building community.
As for the bowl, the rottiserie chicken was tasty. Great sauce. Has rice on the bottom, a small salad (properly dressed) and a very tasty sweet potato croquette.
Lessons remembered:
When someone asks for a second chance, abide. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Accidents happen, but its no reason to discount someone or somewhere. Learning about TITTS mission beyond being a good rest makes me want to come back and tell others.
Kudos to Marlon who was...
