dr B is the BESTEST. i had been going to dr brandt's (RIP) office in the gables and getting good but unfortunately relatively UNaffordable treatment maintenance. i was VERY hesitant to leave the expertise and client relations (including goodwill services like tweaks and corrections since we know cosmoderm med is not just science but an art) of his office. to me, sometimes the client service is more important than the treatment itself.

i needed a comparable treatment and client oriented cosmoderm spa but one at more affordable pricing but was afraid to leave 2 MD dermatologists at my office in the gables. i don't remember how, but i stumbled upon dermacare and immediately felt comfortable and at east with dr B. she has made great recommendations, said hmmm maybe not a good idea/not worth the money, not enough of a fix, cost effective or otherwise when she believed it. to me, that builds HUGE trust and credibility. never at any time did i feel pitched--and believe me i'm a great pitch detector, to the point where i have terminated business or relations with merchants than behave in that fashion.

i feel like a more knowledgeable consumer when i leave which is VERY important in this business. anytime i've had questions or concerns, i always felt validated and valued. i have been pleased with my injectable treatments (can't speak to aesthetics or lasers) and their efficacy. pleased enough that when i return to miami for vacations. i have gone in for treatments knowing that follow up would be logistically complicated if not impossible. but alas, not necessarily impossible because dr B *and the staff) responded with "personability", urgency, sensitivity, empathy, courtesy, and friendly cooperative partnership on possibly even better solutions and with a client goodwill approach.

i DO NOT want to be argued with when expressing questions concerns to any business. that has NEVER happened to me here (unlike my previous office in PA)--with one EXCEPTION of an administrative issue on an appt cancellation which wasn't even a big deal--which is very important to me. the last thing anyone wants, when they are being honest, truthful, altruistic and respectful is to get their concerns dismissed or even diminished. see what i mean about client service??!! dr B has been awesome in that space and i applaud her for it.

treatment is great. prices are reasonable. staff is friendly. everyone is approachable. environment is peaceful, calm and soothing. aesthetics are sterile but warm and comfortable.

I love this place. I’m lucky to have them in my neighborhood! Besides having all the new technologies and cutting edge devices, they always offer honest advice and put the patient’s interest before making more money which is, unfortunately, a rare thing in the cosmetic industry in Miami! I genuinely appreciate their ethical business model and the fact that they never book back to back to give all the time and the attention required to provide customized, personal, and relaxing treatment to every patient. I’m very grateful to them as they went the extra mile to help me with my new surgery incision scars with a new treatment and were so accommodating, knowing that it’s very important to my career and my livelihood to have the minimum scars possible! It was a very rough time for me, and I was panicking over those scars days and nights as I’m a brown person and scarred badly, so I’m very thankful for their open-mindedness! Carrie is very caring, understanding, and knowledgeable, and nurse Yuny is so skillful and compassionate! The receptionists are organized as well. Perfect...

BEWARE! I was scammed by Dermacare

Ladies make sure you ask to do a test area if you are getting the smooth shape or the cavitation!! These 2 services are unbearably painful and they will not return your money under any circumstance!!!! Even if you are clearly experiencing intense pain and cant take the treatment, they will not refund you at all.

I also had a family emergency with covid which forced me to move out of the states. I explained my issues and they just dont care. I purchased the services under a special package only to find out the way its billed its a total scam that is not specified on the fine print. Even with a clear, verified, and admitted error on the contract, my money was not returned. Carrie only offered a credit for less than a 1/4 of what i spent with the clinic, to be used at the clinic, but that does nothing. She knew I was leaving Miami for good.
