This breathtaking Catholic church is not only a work of architectural beauty but also a place that radiates peace and reverence. The moment you step inside, the soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass, and lovingly preserved details transport you to another time. Every corner tells a story — from the ornate altar to the quiet side chapels perfect for prayer. Whether attending Mass, lighting a candle, or simply admiring the craftsmanship, you can feel the faith and devotion that has filled this sacred space for generations. It’s a living testament to both the artistry of its builders and the enduring presence of God. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates history, beauty, and the profound sense of stillness that only a holy place can offer.

After 1 year of looking for a church to baptize my daughter I knew I found the one when I came to Gesu for the parent/godparent class. The father was amazing he was real and down to earth (he wasn't there to drill religion down your throat but to help you learn how to keep an eye on your growing child in the world). I had been to many other churches and the stained glass was the detail that won me over. A beautiful church to remember a beautiful day! Might I add that this church also gives back tremendously to the community by feeding the less fortunate real plates of food not just a yogurt or a sandwich.

Incredibly beautiful parish! I have attended both an English and Spanish mass, they are both amazing (8am & 10am on Sunday). They were both very reverent and relevant. The priests were very good, homilies hit home. Very unique to this parish is they offer confession before mass on Sunday. I felt Jesus’ mercy and love. If you are in the area of this church, go! You will not regret it.

As a new parishioner, I’m incredibly disappointing Gesu church is the closest parish to my new home in Miami. I registered a couple of months ago after relocating from NYC. There hasn’t been a welcome call, email, letter.. nothing.

The parish’s poor administrative communication - or lack there of is appalling (receipt enclosed as proof).

I’ve emailed the parish office several times for a godmother reference letter with no reply. I ended up calling the parish office after attempting contact for a month.

My expectation was to be greeted with “Gesu Parish, so and so speaking, how may I be of assistance?”

The reality was I put on hold immediately after they answered, didn’t receive any introduction, and then was rudely spoken to (interrupting me mid-word and talking over me with an aggressive and hostile tone).

For a moment I thought I had called the wrong number because why would a fellow Christian be so nasty and horrible when discussing something so joyful as the steps in becoming a godparent?

After a long roundabout conversation, I was told that I’m not eligible for receiving a letter of eligibility since I’ve been a parishioner for less than six months.

It’s been incredibly disheartening to be ignored, treated badly, and rejected when all I want is to be welcomed by my new community’s parish in order to continue dedicating my time towards evangelism.

Gesu’s administration in their parish office needs a desperate...

It's the only place left that is open I think 7 days a week to allow one to enter a place of worship. Has many real good church services and allows you to sit and pray, light candles and purchase roseries with baby Jesus. So even If you are not Catholic and wish to have a rosery without Jesus on the cross. Because as a Presbyterian my cross is without Jesus because we believe on the 3rd day he arose and ascended into heaven. Thus we dont were the crucifix bearing him as I forementioned. The priests I've encountered there. I think everyone loves that Church I have a freind in her seventies who has fond memories of her mother taking them to that Church to pray and light a candle and they were Pentecostle. My freind now attends the Methodist Church. I leave my Church service on Sundays and go there to commune with the holy spirit. The service at that time is in Spanish not my language. It's always well attended. Can't say the same for the early service at my Church. Gesu Church is truely the house of the Lord and welcomes everyone. I love that Church! No other Church I know offers so much...

The secretary is very rude. I went there to ask for help she said they don't help but will provide a # that may be able to help. I told her it is okay. I couldn't believe this type of person can work in a church? I don't even have $ to buy a bottle of water right now & have not drank anything. This type of attitude to a person in need is disgusting. I tried to give a humble suggestion that maybe next time someone asks for help don't tell them to come in person, have them call you. I was told to come here at 9:30 am to speak to her. That should not be told to someone just to ge turned away. I could have been turned down over the phone. She has a phone in her office. I walked a long way with a heavy suitcase & duffel. I'm already sleeping outside I really did not need to be given anything negative in my situation. I am a nurse, maybe I am just more empathetic than most because I take care of sick children & adults. I don't know. But I am a respectable licensed professional person who fell on hard times (primarily due to being targeted). There was no reason to be...
