I was very disappointed with our last visit. I called ahead and ordered 2 pizzas to eat there. I did this because we had hungry kiddos and was trying to avoid a long wait. The pizzas were not ready when we got there but not a big deal. We waited about 15 minutes and then the pizzas came over cooked. Still we didnt complain. It came time to leave and my daughter said she was going to take th 3 year old out to the car while I paid. They started out the door and the door flung back and hit my 3 year old grandson and knocked him down cutting his head and leaving an large knot on his forehead. Anyone who has been there knows how this door does. Why it hasn't been fixed is beyond me. It is bad enough that my 3 year old grandson got hurt because of it but the fact that not one person working there showed any concern or even asked if he was ok. My daughter asked for a bag of ice and the young gentleman got her one. I was still waiting in line and said that door is dangerous and the lady at the register rolled her eyes! I couldn't believe it, a toddler had just been hurt and she is rolling her eyes. I found that very insensitive and unprofessional. I have given myself a couple days to calm down about the whole situation so not to over react but I still can not believe that not one employee asked if he was ok or anything and then the woman I was waiting to pay rudely rolled her eyes about it. Was it to much to expect one of them to say 'is he ok?" Also to acknowledge how the door is. I used to be a fan of this place often recommending it to friends but after seeing how none of them cared that a 3 year old was hurt and a head injury at that I will never give them any business again... of course I am sure they don't care. I do hope they fix the door so nobody else gets hurt. Next time they might not be so lucky...
Read moreI grew up with Pappas Pizza Palace. Back when the Fox family had it. And then when Dale took it over it became an all time landmark for Miamisburg. For years it was a weekly place for most of miamisburg and Germantown Franklin, West Carrolton families. It was the all time Favorite. And when Dale needed to step away and close. God bless you Dale you was always a huge name in our community and we all love you. When they closed it was a blow to the town. God bless him and his health. 🙏🏼Point being though we were all stoked when we heard someone was going to re open it. And kudos to you for doing so Thank you and your Family. And when the name stayed the same it was exciting. Because our Pappas we all loved was coming back. The great pizzas/sandwiches were all time great. I know alot of people who live out of state. And Pappas was always on the list to come back too.Not sure why Dale's recipes wasn't carried on. But We all wish they would of been. Pappas pizza palace is not the same. Maybe think about changing recipes or the name. Never meaning to shame. You could be rock stars. And carry on for the next 50 years. What's on alot of our minds. Thanks...
Read moreWent to Papa's for the 1st time with my family (7 of us total). When we walked in we actually almost left, because from the front it looks like there is no dining area. But the hostess stopped us and told us that the dining area is just hidden a bit. Thank goodness we did not leave. We had the best experience! The food was fantastic. We had pizza, sandwiches, and cheese bread, and it was all so good. The service was also excellent. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server was extremely helpful with familiarizing us with the menu. He kept our drinks full, and made sure to check on us to see how we were doing despite having a full room of guests. The cashier/hostess was delightful, and even the entire kitchen staff thanked us all for coming while we were leaving! We are blown away. We will definitely be back many times, and I would recommend...
