I was in town to go to an event that I attend annually. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. I didn’t expect to be taken are of immediately, because I was early. The person checking me in reminded me that I was early and have to wait. I brushed it off. I was getting a blowout. I had gotten one the previous year, and it was perfect.
I left Ulta with my hair looking perfectly. After 3 hours my hair was curling. After 5 hours, my hair was frizzy, bushy and curly.
I went back to the store the next morning. I was informed that a blow out isn’t expected to last and asked if I followed my after care instructions. I said I wasn’t given any. Then the manager went to talk to the stylist. I suggest you take conversations regarding customers off the floor.
While I was hoping for a redo, I asked if they could just put some product in. The manager was running (literally running) around the store. She offered me a coupon to be used for hair services at any Ulta. I asked if she could just recommend a product. She walked away. I think asked Samantha, the stylist, and she recommended a $30 small bottle of oil. I said I wasn’t going to pay another $30. I had already paid around $48 and left a $20 tip (bc I loved it when I left). The manager then showed up and offered me 25% off. The stylist had suggested giving me a sample. The manager didn’t even acknowledge her.
I left and walked next door to Marshall’s and picked up an oil for my hair.

Read moreToday I visited this location and heard two people one that is a manager talking about an employee that they purposely got rid of. Two months ago I came in and the nicest girl helped me went out of her way and the same happened there was two women sitting in salon area which I noticed no one else was in there except products were speaking about same said employee. I will be making a report on this as I’ve been helped by the said employee like four times and she was running through the store , to help other employees while these two sat there . This employee was not only the reason I shopped with you and I did see her crying on side of the building as well which I’ve never seen her be unprofessional. I then went into Marshall’s and spoke about what happened and they said they had made a complaint about the manager of this company and her second supervisor that looks so unprofessional she didn’t have any hygiene or wasn’t nearly as knowledgeable. Poor employee who knows what they did but this is now second time I’ve heard them speak of same person . I visited with two friends as well please only ask for blonde long hair girl I cannot...
Read moreWent to Ulta yesterday in Rio Grande, New Jersey purchased elf mascara when I went to use it the tube was empty. There was nothing in it. I took my purchase back to Ulta today. I didn’t have my receipt, but I did purchase it On my Ulta credit card. The girl at the register remembered me from yesterday when she went to return it the computers were off-line. It wasn’t showing that I purchased it, but she did remember me called the manager who did absolutely nothing opened the tube of mascara to see there was nothing in it. I went and got another tube showed her that one was the same way. She seemed to think it was the wand. There was nothing in the tube then she told me there’s nothing she can do because the computers are off-line. but amazingly, they were ringing customers up on the same computer that seemed to be off-line.
