McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Middleburg Heights

We just ordered dinner from the website and picked up from the window. I looked at the receipt and all items looked to be highlighted so I thought it was safe to assume that the order would be correct. Man was I wrong. I glanced over while waiting for a red light and noticed through the clear bag that the chips that were supposed to come with the French dip were not visible. I pulled over to the side of the road to open the bag and sure enough; no chips. I didn’t want to return all the way back and end up eating a cold dinner over a missing bag of chips, so I brushed it off. When I got home, I opened my chicken Ceasar salad and found there was no dressing. I looked at my receipt and saw that there was indeed a separate call out for the type of dressing that should have been enclosed. I did not end up eating the salad as I am currently out of any alternate salad dressings. The club wrap and the French dip my partner got were very tasty, we are just not happy with the lack of attention to the order. For that reason, we will probably not be returning. Also a side note: when ordering online, at the payment screen it defaults to a 15% tip. In my opinion, it is in poor taste to request a tip for an order that I am...

Came opening day, and yes it was opening day, I get it. However, ordered the King Club with potato salad. Dinner came to the table and the sandwich did not look right so I asked. They immediately said, nope this is wrong, but keep it and we will bring the King. I was "allowed" to keep the first club that was tiny. I ate both in that same sitting. The male cashier asked if I was a member to which I answered, yes. I frequented N Olmsted. He said thanks. But didn't scan my phone. I asked another guy and he said I'll reprint your ticket and ypu can scan it to your app....haha! Nope never worked, they had no answers as to why. Here again this evening, day 3 of opening, today ordered a veggie spud. And $45 of other food and drink items, never to be told, we are put of spuds for 20 min...but never once did the cashier tell us, we overheard it AFTER we ordered it and then told us to get back in line....why? Let me pay for it and bring it when it's ready! 2 issues in 3 days....hope it all...

Save your money ! The food was decent but way too much for what you’re getting. I ordered pickup. My soup (Broccoli Cheddar) wasn’t even full but was so so good. Way better than Panera’s. The chicken tortilla soup was good and had a nice spiciness to it. Both sandwiches were good but very salty. (I had a half Rueben and husband had a full New Yorker) I’ve had other stuff from them in the past and it’s good.

I just strongly feel like you’re not getting your monies worth. The fruit cup was $3 and definitely not worth it ! The Mac n Cheese was outstanding !! One of the best. The cucumber tomato salad was good but I added salt and pepper and ranch to make it better. The deserts were worth their price (I guess shrug) but the carrot cake was too sweet & I looove cake.
