I went to this location yesterday to try it out and was very disappointed. 1st I ordered an appetizer, shumai, I could barely taste the filling. I could feel the shrimp but couldn't taste them. They arrived on my plate rolling around. No effort of presentation. The spicy mayo sauce or whatever sauce they gave with them was terrible. Then I ordered Dan Dan noodles. They are prepackaged noodles which are boiled and then pork with cilantro and corn and a couple of different sauces and chili oil on the side. They heated up the pork in the MICROWAVE. The pork in the bowl was cold so she put the whole bowl in the microwave as well( I also ordered pork on the side). The point of these noodles is it's suppose to have the smokey wok taste since it is a dry noodle dish. Then when she clears my table she takes my water bottle I know I had at least a few sips left. Overall I paid 30 and left a 5 dollar tip for food that was heated in the microwave, noodles that were boiled and shumai with no taste. I will say that the noodles tasted very good alittle too salty but I enjoyed them especially the texture.Less cilantro would have been better as well. So will not be...

First time trying out this incredible restaurant, and we were really surprised. We expected to get good sushi and we were surprised with an amazing eating experience. The fish was very fresh and extremely high quality. The tuna was vibrant, and rich in color and the salmon was just beautiful.

We ordered the dirty kani salad, peanut avocado roll, spicy tuna hand roll, the pink burrito, the fire and ice roll, an order of tuna sashimi, and a small bottler of apple sake. All were incredible and I recommend all of them. The chef was extremely fast. Plating was perfect which brings me to my next point. The plate ware and dishes are very very cool. They make sense for the sushi but are are different than what you would expect, and I appreciate the cool factor. Our host/server/potential owner? well she was very sweet, and passionate about the customer experience. There was also a very extroverted sous chef who was beyond entertaining. He greeted us outside before we came and while inside his friendliness created a great vibe that added to our overall experience. We will come back and I will continue to write. Hope you enjoy as...

Short version: From the service to the food and the dishes they're served on everything thing feels thoughtful and well executed. Hands down my #1 sushi spot now!

Long version:

Location: The location is wonderful and comfy with some table seating and two cozy booth areas. The aesthetic feels intimate enough for a date or just a cool spot for a casual lunch.

Service: Just so wonderful, from suggestions to casual conversation over the food, the vibe is so welcoming and warm here.

Food: The best for last, the food is some of the best sushi I've had. Working through the sushi menu I didn't have a single mediocre roll even when trying ones I'd typically pass on. Then I went with my wife who doesn't like seafood and we tried some non seafood items and wow. The spring rolls were incredible I was nervous the rest of the menu wouldn't be as good as the sushi but I...

Stopped by this restaurant tonight and we took the window seat. We ordered some pan-fried gyoza, which were very delicious! From the thin dumpling wrapper to the really fresh and light pork filling to the beautiful crisp on the bottom and that really excellent dipping sauce (a little spicy, perfectly balanced), we would definitely order again! And the seasoned edamame were steamed perfectly with this amazing soy garlic sauce!! Then we ordered our entrees: a bowl of creamy curry shrimp ramen whose noodles were perfectly cooked, with a savory, creamy and lightly nutty broth AND few classic rolls which were freshly made. We particularly enjoyed the springtime and evergreen rolls (the shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy) and the sauces balanced the dish as well. While this restaurant is tucked off the main road, please do yourself a favor and stop by!

The food was absolutely delicious and the venue, is small and brings a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. By the time I got the check, the hostess introduced herself and the rest of the staff. The sushi is AMAZING. I recommend the Sunny roll (has tempura sea scallops) or the Paradise roll, for a crazy contract of citrus and heat. If you like it 🔥 SPICY 🥵 be careful, they mean business. The spicy snails rice noodle soup is the hottest soup they serve 🔥🔥🔥

Hands down the best sushi in the Middletown area. Every roll is different in its own way and is absolutely incredible. Perfectly balanced flavors in their specialty rolls. Simple and delicious a la cart rolls. The attention to detail and thought that went into making each and every one their items is something you don’t see every day. I cannot recommend Niuda enough. You’re doing yourself a disservice by ordering sushi anywhere but here.
