This is my third time going there since they re-opened, and I have got to say, they have been consistent in a bad way. The line is long and slow, but I have come to accept this as I suspect they are short staffed and doing the best they can. What I struggle with is that they have gotten my order wrong each and every time. It is pretty simple, double steak burger, no cheese, add lettuce, tomato, and onion.
The first time I didn't discover until I had gotten home that they had added mayo, pickle, and an extra patty. Seeing as the burger was cold they probably had a return order and gave it to me instead of the burger I ordered.
Second time I got a single patty with no toppings. Frustrating, but since it was at least something I could eat I didn't go back through to get it fixed.
Tonight was the third time. I should have checked before I pulled away, but I didn't. Got home and it is smothered in cheese. I am horribly lactose intolerant, so that makes 3 meals I have paid for there and only one of them has been something I can eat. And that one wasn't even right!
I would have called to ask for a refund at this point, but there is no phone number and they are only open for drive through, so you will have to wait through the truthfully 45 minute line to even ask for customer service.
I get being short staffed and overwhelmed. I worked in fast food for many years, and one infamous black Friday for me only two of us showed up for work, and if you were one of my customers that day, I am sorry.
But this is by no means acceptable. Since reopening they have consistently failed to get my order even close to being right even once. I love steak and shake for a lot of reasons, a lot of them fond memories, so I am sad to say that I will never be going back to this location and I encouraged others to think twice before going to this...
Read moreI just went visited the drive thru . I'll tell you what best experience, I've ever had at this location, Austin B. So friendly, smiles, caring. I hope you never lose him. As many times as my boyfriend and I have been coming here, the best employee and doesn't seem like he hates being there. As most people who work there.
I realized you are short staffed but says you are open 24 hours. I called up there last week. For a manager to tell me they have something called a 'blank period' . your sign says 24 hours obviously you need to get employees from other stores or maybe the manager needs to work those two hours you call a 'blank period' . I work in the food industry. I get it. Hopefully, with being so short staffed you don't work your employees to death while only making minimum wage.
For someone who isn't trained correctly or at all. You don't just throw them on by themselves. Especially, at night where they have zero help. If things aren't working out with employees and you can't keep employees. Obviously, you either need to change management who knows what they are doing, get employees in there. I mean your job is seriously, not that hard.

Took forever to get drinks and food. it probably took 5 minutes for a waitress to even come get a drink order 10 more minutes to receive the drink and we placed our order. it took a long time to receive our food when we did get it my son's food was wrong. He was eating the fries on his plate when the waitress pulled the plate away from him to fix the order so I gave him my food. he had almost ate all of my food and his order that was to be remade had not been brought back to the table. At this time she brought are milkshakes that were ordered with the drink orders. I asked her where my son's food was. Well it was sitting in the window. And it had been for quite some time. We were all done ready to pay and I told the manager she took the milkshakes off of my check which didn't make sense to me because I had to pay for food I never received. at this time my son's food was still in the window I pointed out to the manager she had just rolled her eyes at the waitress. I then ask for corporates number not one time did the manager apologize. my son never did receive his food I had to leave and buy food somewhere else so I could have dinner because my son ate mine. I called corporate and they told me somebody would follow up with me. They never did.
