Hawaiian Bros Island Grill — Restaurant in Midland

That’s place sucks I bought a Honolulu classic, my bad for not checking the order before I drove and hour away. When I got home opened the box they put a small inside of a classic box. I called back they said we will put you in some blue book and get it right next time on them. Went back next day to get them to get it right. Got there they were super slow so I asked them I was told to come tell them I was in the blue book and to give my name. I did and instead of the Honolulu in order the pork did same price no harm. The manager on duty which I later found out was the GM Rosemarie said I guess we will make it(straight attitude giving. Now it’s still slow but orders are going out. Now just so you know I got there at 9:00pm around 9:25 the young lady they was at the kiosk came up to me and had the audacity to tell me they ran out of rice and it will be 10-15 min on rice there is no such thing rice at most takes 8 mins. So I said never-mind don’t worry about it. If me paying would have gotten my meal in under 8 minutes I would have done so I didn’t really need a hand out but since they messed up my order from the previous day but it’s cool I will never ever eat at this place again and just to show you I didn’t eat the food the previous night I will post the picture of what they gave me Rosemarie is a horrible GM and should not be...

Made a drive back from Dallas this Sunday night and didn't realize until just now that we had a Hawaiian Bros here in Midland! Saw them open all over DFW a few years back when living in the Metroplex but never made it around to try the place. Stopped in first thing when I made it back to Midland, I was nice and hungry after the long drive from Dallas and wow, they did not disappoint!

Portions are big, food is hot and the price is reasonable. Grew up around Hawaiian food in Las Vegas and this place is legit. Is if it wasn't already good enough, the service is phenomenal also. The girl at the counter, I think it was Tanesha? She was so sweet and kind! Very observant also... saw me standing and waiting, (had been sitting in the car for five hours), asked if I wanted it to go instead of dine in. It's those little things that sets a place apart. And then I saw they're open until 3am... EVERYDAY?! I love me some late night Whataburger but the amount of times I've got out of work at 1 or 2am and was not feeling Whataburger or Cane's... if only I had known sooner! Knowing that we can get a fresh and filling meal that late in Midland, game changer.

This is NOT Hawaiian food!!! I can't say this enough. This is a Hawaiian THEMED chicken restaurant. It is not the same thing. I've been to Hawaii more times than I can count. Very disappointed.

Came in with my wife excited to try this place out and we ended up taking a few bites each and throwing our entire meal down the trash. $40 down the drain.

Wanted the dole whip, which was about the only thing "Hawaiian" on their menu, but the machine was broken. Not a good sign.

The chicken itself is OKAY, not good, just okay. However what really threw me off was their rice. I have no idea what kind of rice that is but it is off and its disgusting. Completely ruins the dish.

Their mac salad was bad too. It should be soft and kinda melt in your mouth. It was hard and the sauce tasted weird.

Spam Musubi - really dont know how they screwed this one up. The spam was TASTELESS. How is that possible?? There was no spam musubi sauce anywhere on it and mixed with their weird tasting rice....horrible. Took one bite and also threw it out.
