Weād never been there before, but the server lady didnāt ask. She threw a single, tiny iPad at a table of 6, immediately asked what we wanted to drink without giving us a second to look at the menu, and rushed off. No explanation of how anything worked, no questions asked.
After we ordered food, they began picking and choosing what they would send out to us. We ordered 3 orders of pineapple (2 rings/person for a table of 6), and without fail, every time, they would bring us one. One plate of brisket; two little spring rolls on a plate when weād ordered 2 servings with a plate of 3, as shown in their menu picture, etc. When the food came out, there was no seasoning on it. Simply one or two Tbs of 2 random sauces and a dry rub in a metal tray for the whole time we were there with no offer of refills. There was also salt, pepper, and soy sauce on the table, but ??
After a while, the server comes back over and sees weāve removed the white paper off of the grill. We didnāt know we werenāt supposed to remove that; Iāve never seen any other KBBQ place make us cook on paper?? She made a big deal about it, insisting that the grills couldnāt be changed out and made us remove our meat immediately to get a new paper. Blessedly, one of the other guys saw that the temperature needed to be higher to cook through the paper and turned ours up, but he was probably the best part about this experience.
Still ordering things and only getting half the things we ordered, even if it was within the 4-7 limit of items per order, she kept rushing out to get us more water every 5-10 minutes. Not the food we ordered, just water. The servers who came to deliver our food did so with sneers on their faces. Then, the other server āSkinniest lady out thereā suddenly brought me to the table, and I repeated again that āmaāam I would like to wait for my partnerā, then she said āyou can wait hereā. She made me feel that she was commanding her customer to follow what she said. Excuse me, you are the server, I am your customer, okay madam?!
Okay, small thing, no petty. In addition, at the end, I double checked with āSkinniest lady out thereā that today will be closing at TEN PM. Then, I heard that they didnāt accept new customers even it was just NINE PM. I was okay, maybe there were no boss around, thatās why they would like to own the restaurant. Okay, I will respect whatever.
I know my partner and I were the one only in the restaurant, but we asked about the closing time was TEN PM. The āblack mask ladyā said today closes at NINE PM, I couldnāt see her face, and the way that she told me was very disturbing us.
That time was NINE ZERO TEN PM. the āSkinniest ladyā came and reminded us that āToday, no customer, we will close at NINE PMā. Okay I respect one more time.
The āblack mask ladyā was gossiping something about us, and unfortunately, i could understand chinese. I asked the āSkinniest ladyā that ādid she say something about us? I can understand chinese okayā.
Alright, that was a great experience story. I donāt want to discriminate the server out there. However, I ate and paid there, I would like to tip you more, but you ruined it. PLEASE HAVING THE BOSS AROUND THIS RESTAURANT, DO NOT LET THOSE TYPES OF PEOPLE RUIN YOUR RESTAURANT MONEY.

After being seated a waitress brought my son a balloon in the shape of a rubber duck. Super nice right! She then proceeded to pick my son up out of the high chair without asking permission and starts walking away!!!! I immediately stated very loudly miss where are you going with my son? She walked back and continued to play with my son in her arms. After a min or two longer I asked her to put my child down. She did begrudgingly. BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!!!! she returned about 10 mins later and picked my son up AGAIN!!!! And played with him next to our table. Again against my wishes started walking towards the entrance of the restaurant. This time I went and grabbed my son from her. This was received with an angry look from the waitress. We ate the rest of our meal with my son in our lap. After a while we put him back in the high chair. I noticed another waitress pick up someone elseās child in the same fashion the did mine. All of the sudden my son was once again removed from his chair by the waitress and brought over to this other familyās child to āmake friends ā. At this point I am furious. I immediately asked for the manager. I was told it was all in good fun and not to worry. This is unacceptable behavior by the wait staff. I will not be returning to this restaurant ever again. I have never once felt like my child was going to be kidnapped. And in the course of one meal that changed my perspective drastically.
