Sorry for the long post, but I can't say enough good things about Shane Co.! (Not a paid review either!) They continue to be my favorite jewelry store. I can't imagine how many pieces I have purchased over the years from here. As a guy, I have little, to no knowledge about jewelry. I just know my wife likes it, and I love to see her face when she gets new things to accessorize with. Shane Co. staff help me to pick things that work well together, and never make me feel dumb as a guy. They have an amazing warranty (wife actually lost her center stone on her wedding band at one point, and they happily replaced it under warranty, since we maintain her ring per their requirements with cleanings, inspections, etc.). Over the years, I have upgraded her center stone several times, each time getting full value on my previous stone, towards a new one. This past year, for our anniversary, I traded her entire wedding set in (rings and stones) for a different style. Over more than 20 years of marriage, her personal style has changed. She no longer wanted the yellow gold (or the style) I proposed to her with all those years ago. I suprised her with the metal, and style she wanted. In doing so, I received full credit for the rings themselves, towards a new wedding ring (it has to be at least 50% more for the new ring) and full credit on the stone (stone could be $1 more expensive). Her new wedding bands and stone are amazing, and exactly what she wanted. She surprised me with a new wedding band made from Tantalum. They have a great selection of men's bands. I am very hard on my wedding bands, due to my occupation, and hobbies. So I have broken, lost or otherwise ruined my wedding band several times. Because of this, I have tried other companies for men's wedding bands including online. Each time I return to Shane Co. because their quality continues to exceed expectations. Their staff is very polite and helpful, with no pressure to upsell, or exceed my set budget. Even during the pandemic, they continue to be very popular and busy. That would be my only complaint really. Once you are working with a sales reps they have to juggle other customers as well, so you do end up spending a fair amount of time without assistance, waiting for your rep to assist other customers. Because of this, plan on more time in the store than you think. It is not really a place you can pop into quickly, even if you already know what you are purchasing. Lastly, I love their online wish list. You create an account, and you or your loved one can look through their stuff online, and save stuff to your wishlist. Then, when a special occasion comes up, you already know what your loved one has their eye on! If you do happen to pick something that they aren't particularly fond of, exchanges and returns are a breeze.

I give it 4 stars because of the experience my husband and I went through right when we got my ring initially. We went to pick the ring up and it wasn’t even up to top quality, up to standards
there were indentations in the ring itself and there was gold soldering right by the center diamond on one side still showing, keep in mind it’s a rose gold ring so it definitely couldn’t have been my eyeballs playing tricks on me. Considering I’ve wanted a Shane Co ring since I was 4 years old, of course this upset me. We went back 4 times in a row to see if they could fix it but the 3rd time back was the last straw. The soldering was still there and the indentation was deep, and there was no fixing the ring. My husband was upset since we spent a good chunk of money on it and this shouldn’t have ever happened, I was majorly upset cause it’s supposed to be up to standard and Shane Co’s radio ad used to say “your friend in the diamond business” but I felt that wasn’t true at that moment and not gonna lie, I was about to cry in the middle of the store I was that upset and angry. We talked to the sales manager, Melissa and she was amazing. I wish we would have gotten to talk to her in the first place if I’m honest. She went above and beyond for us
I asked her if we could get a completely new ring since this one wasn’t able to be fixed and asked if we could get the top jeweler on it and she said she would do that since we’ve gone through all of the stuff we shouldn’t have ever gone through in the first place. She also made sure to check the ring before we got there and right when we got there, gave us her little magnifying glass to check the ring in full too to make sure there weren’t any problems and we were totally satisfied. I’m happy we get a lifetime warranty at no extra cost to fix these things. Even though Shane Co did what they did, I’m happy with my ring, it looks great. But I do think that they have a long way to go. They need to have the people on the sales floor do more training to make sure that they’re not pressuring but also not giving people a lack of help, have the people at the pickup desk in the back do some extra training to make sure the rings that are given out are up to standards, and make sure that the jewelers that aren’t as experienced have more training too. Despite my experience with getting my ring, I highly recommend going to Shane Co. for any and all jewelry needs. They helped my husband and I pick out a ring in our budget and one that was exactly what we were looking for. They always pull through for their customers if you give them the chance. I’m happy my dream that I had since I was 4 years old was fulfilled which was to get a fantastic ring with my husband from Shane Co that’s perfect for me.

Let me start off by saying that if I could give this place a negative 5 star rating, I would. I went in to get a men’s wedding band for myself. I found the absolute perfect ring and fell completely in love with it. The ring was a half size too small so they sent it out for it to be resized. When I went to pick the ring up, it looked completely different. The ring was supposed to have a raised center, which was off-white, cream-ish in color. Apparently during the resizing process they took off the entire finish from it, leaving it as just a plain silver band. They apologized for the mistake and told me that they would fix it. They had no idea or inventory what it looked like before, so the jewelers attempted to duplicate it from the picture that I had. Two different jewelers tried multiple times to get the ring how it was, but it was not right. They even managed to accidentally swap it with another ring and the entire design of the ring had changed. They tried to ship in rings that were made around the same time, but none of them were the same. Apparently the manufacturer was the one who made the ring’s finish
Meaning they had COMPLETELY destroyed my ONE OF A KIND ring. The ring ended up being a dark, gray color in the end. They tried to tell me they were “sorry but there’s nothing they can do and no matter what the jeweler does it will turn out the same” and not the way I wanted it and offered me a lousy $10 gift certificate to a coffee shop, which does not even compare to my $1500 ring. Long story short, I am absolutely crushed that my ring was ruined. The lack of care Shane Co had when resizing my ring is absolutely unacceptable. I will never shop here again.

I needed some work done to my wedding set including ring resizing, replacing a melee stone and welding my band and engagement ring together. When I took it in, they tested it to make sure it was a real diamond and gold in order to take it in, it was real and they took it in to do all the work. They won’t take it if it’s not real.

My ring was there for a couple of days when my husband gets a call from them that when they were working on it, their laser “accidentally” went right across my center stone and they wanted us to come look at it. We did and the laser damaged my center stone bad. They offered to get me a stone as close as they can to my original center stone for free since they were the ones who made the mistake. I agreed and left it with them again. My original stone was a genuine 1 ct diamond.

When I got it back, it looked good to the naked eye and I trusted them as a good jeweler with a good reputation, so I didn’t look very hard and didn’t have them test it in front of me. I asked if they could give me some paperwork for the new stone and they said no I would need to get the entire ring reappraised at an appraisal event or ship it to them through the mail and fill out a form. So I left with my ring and no paperwork and was planning to get it appraised.

I went to another jeweler a little over a year later (life got busy and to someone who doesn’t know jewelry, it looked fine) when the jeweler went to test my center stone, IT WASNT REAL! it was cubic zirconia! I was furious. Looking at my ring further, the jeweler said they did a terrible job with the resizing and the band was thinner than it was supposed to be, the setting of the stone was crooked, and they didn’t restamp my gold with the karats. It was 14k gold and they didn’t restamp that in my band. To say I was furious was an understatement.

We took my ring back to Shane Co to get them to pay for what they did to my ring, and they did not keep the record for when they replaced my center stone. They were being sneaky and didn’t want record of that. I had my reciepts for everything else they did though. They also tried to tell me they noted in my profile that it was Cubic Zirconia when they first took it, which was WRONG because the worker on the sales floor I talked to before getting the work done tested it and it was real. He told me they don’t take rings that aren’t real stones. They added those notes to cover their tracks. After arguing and fighting with them about it for over an hour and getting the other jeweler to prove what they did wrong, they finally admitted to what they did, after threatening a lawsuit. They paid the other jeweler the money we needed to get it repaired and have a REAL diamond put in.

I would NEVER trust Shane co with any jewelry ever again!!! They tried to steal from me, were sneaky about the whole thing, and were trying to take advantage of me. Not sure if this was just a sneaky repair guy, or the whole company itself, but they are not to be trusted with anything!!!!

If you got your ring repaired there anytime in February of 2024 or anytime in 2024, I recommend getting it checked by...

I’m not one to leave reviews honestly but the completely unprofessional experience I had really can’t go unmentioned. My fiance and I went ring shopping a few months back and had a GREAT experience. Very helpful and kind staff who helped us design the perfect ring. Fast forward to pay off day for the rings, everything went to hell in a hand basket. We went in person and brought our own center stone to have set in the ring after paying off the rings we set on layaway. We were taken to the back floor to have our diamond evaluated, documented, and discuss setting costs. While trying to read the small number inscribed on our diamond not one but TWO staff members dropped our diamond a total of SIX TIMES. By that time I got fed up and asked if the number they were trying to read would be on my IGI certificate to which they said yes. To stop the game of football that was essentially being played with our diamond I said just take it off this then, I’ve had it verified at another jeweler so I’m co didn’t that it matches. By this point we are pretty angry, we are told the cost to set the diamond okay great. Then all of the sudden another $295 was slapped onto the setting cost for a new crown, which we weren’t told we needed until just now. You’d think when we purchased the rings someone would’ve mentioned we would need a new crown as well but that was left out. They did know when we purchased the rings the shape of center stone we intended to put in. While I can understand it was necessary you can imagine our shock since this is the first time anyone mentioned needing a new crown on top of what we paid for the rings to begin with which wasn’t cheap. The icing on the cake was being told AFTER our diamond was dropped six times that NOW they would do a little overlook of the diamond to see its condition and note any flaws before we signed a paper stating its value and that if it’s damaged in Shane co’s care they would reimburse us what we paid which is great but we paid well under market value for our stone despite its carat size so if any damage had occurred from being dropped six times , whatever Shane co reimbursed us wouldn’t have covered a quarter of the cost for a comparable quality and size stone. Again, this was AFTER they dropped it six times. Luckily there was no damage, but it all felt incredibly unprofessional, the staff we had that day felt like they really could’ve cared less about helping us, and did a poor job of explaining about the crown- it was very much just an “oh and you’ll need a new crown for this ring” And another $295 added to the bill all of the sudden. At the end of the day we have our rings but I definitely will not ever buy a ring from Shane co again. To add, of course when we purchased the rings never once did they drop THEIR stones which were handled by staff multiple times, so it just really felt like less care was taken because it wasn’t theirs to worry about replacing or...

So I’ve always heard very good things about Shane company. My brother bought his wife’s wedding ring there. So I bought my wife’s wedding and engagement rings there about eight years ago. A couple of months ago my wife looked down and saw that the center 1.01 karat diamond had fallen out! We have both been really stressed about this. I had heard that they will replace the center diamond, including all of the other small diamonds if they ever fall out, but I didn’t ever think that it would happen to us. We all deal with different companies on a daily basis and I’m sure like many of you, I have become very skeptical of people‘s warranties and how I will be treated by their company when something happens. I was expecting the runaround and having to pay out-of-pocket, and also having to wait months to get this taken care of. Shane company’s warranty is absolutely free. You just need to buy your jewelry from them and they will clean it for free when you take it in every six months, as well as replaced diamonds that fall out. Well, we had to put this to the test. We just took her rings in a few days ago, and I cannot be more pleased with how we were treated! Not only are they replacing the center Diamond, they found one that is the exact same size at 1.01 karat weight, but they upgraded the color and clarity by two notches on each one of those. So she is now getting a replacement pear shaped/teardrop shaped diamond that is both two notches clearer, and two notches more colorless. There are also a couple other tiny diamonds that had fallen out of her engagement band and a couple on her wedding ring as well, and they are going to completely take care of us without charging us a thing! In fact, it was so painless, we were there for maybe just a few minutes as they looked things over, brought out the new diamond and let us look at it, and we were on our way as they told us they would be taking care of everything! And we have an appointment to go pack and pick it up in just one week. I would absolutely recommend the Shane company to my children, my parents, my friends, everyone! I am still in shock that they are actually doing this. My wife is getting a wedding ring that is even more brilliant and more perfect than the one I got her eight years ago in the exact same setting, just a better diamond. Absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t rave enough about how amazing they are and how we were treated so well. I would give them a 100 star review out of five stars if I could. I am still very much in shock that we are being treated so well and that they are honoring their warranty.Thank you, Shane company, I will be going to you for every piece of jewelry that I ever buy! In fact, I did buy a yellow sapphire necklace for my wife for Christmas a couple years ago, and I’m glad I did. It’s nice to know that these items are covered. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to go anywhere else. Jeremy in Eagle...
