If you live in the Milford, CT area, you are very fortunate to have many great choices when it comes to sub sandwiches. From the variety of local mom and pop deli’s, Jersey Mike’s, Jimmy John’s, Quiznos, Nardelli’s, even Subway. (Maybe that’s because the Subway Corporate Office is located here in Milford and they need to show out for the big bosses.) Di’Bella’s Subs is also a great place to get a sub sandwich.

Now I’m not going to say which place is my favorite, (I have one) because that would be like sitting down to eat Christmas dinner with your entire family and telling them who your favorite child is. Every parent knows when that question comes up to just avoid it or lie until you can clearly determine which one has the greatest potential. I will however tell you what my favorite sub sandwich is from Di’Bella’s Subs. Hands down it’s the Godfather. The everything fresh baked bread, the salami, capicola and spicy ham. It’s an offer you can’t refuse. I order mine with the standard toppings plus banana peppers and olives.

My Daughter graduated yesterday (Mother’s Day) from WCSU. To say that it was a very special day would be an understatement. I decided I wanted to enjoy the day as much as possible, I did not want to cook nor did I want to be rushed out of a restaurant because of the holiday. I wanted to enjoy my guests and my daughter’s achievement without time limits or oven timers. After seeing a friend’s post recommending DiBella’s Catering, I immediately went to the website to see what their catering menu offered. I was instantly interested and called Destiny to help me customize one of their packages to our needs. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions, she helped me put together an incredible menu with as much enthusiasm as I had. When my son arrived to pick up our order, it was ready, fresh, beautifully presented and all set for transport. Everything was absolutely delicious from the salads to the cookies! Our guests LOVED everything and I had no problem giving them Destiny’s contact info for their future catering needs when asked. I know I will be calling her again myself.
