I’ve always enjoyed Chipotle, so much so that I typically ordered one to two times a week. Unfortunately, my experience with their to-go orders has been consistently disappointing. Almost every time, something important is either wrong or missing.
I can overlook small issues like a forgotten side tortilla or missing chips, but my most recent order was unacceptable. I ordered a barbacoa bowl with extra meat, only to get home and discover there was no meat at all. Since I live 30 minutes away, I tried to resolve the issue through the customer service feature in the app. Instead of helping, the representative essentially told me “tough luck” and refused to offer a refund, saying they “cannot compensate every time an order isn’t perfectly satisfying.”
What’s frustrating is that I paid for a specific item, didn’t receive it, and then was told the company wouldn’t make it right. For a brand as large and successful as Chipotle, I expected far better accountability and customer care. The sad thing is, since thee upper management clearly supports terrible customer service, the in store customer service is just as bad if not worse. Never an apology for wrong orders or poor...

I travel frequently for business and often rely on Chipotle as a go-to meal option. I’ve visited locations all over the country (and the world), and I usually stop in a few times a week. I know what to expect from Chipotle, and I usually enjoy it—but this location was a major letdown.
The staff seemed completely disengaged, like the customers were a disruption rather than the reason they’re there. No greetings, no eye contact, no energy—just going through the motions.
But worse than the service was the food. It was bland beyond belief—completely lacking flavor or seasoning. I’m not sure how you manage to strip all the taste out of ingredients that usually have a decent punch, but somehow it happened. There was no culinary experience here at all. I might as well have been eating air. It filled my stomach, but that’s about it.
This isn’t the standard I’ve come to expect from Chipotle, and I hope this location gets things...
Read moreHeard great things about Chipotle, so my wife and I decided to grab an early dinner this past Friday. We walked in and waited only a couple minutes before being served at the counter. A very messy counter. Two people working and I assume trying their best, but it just wasn't a great visual effect. Very messy and unmanaged. My wife had two tacos, one of which was a crunchy hard shell and after taking one bite, she was unable to eat it because it just didn't taste right. I had a bowl with steak over rice with lettuce, pico de`gallo and cheese. My meal was actually not bad , but we just couldn't get past the unacceptable level of uncleanliness in the dining area and especially the serving/preparation side of the food service counter. Sorry, Chipotle, but I think you have a management and training deficiency at the local restaurant, and you need to address it...
