As a customer, I can say that Ruby Tuesday in this Milledgeville location by far has the best salad bar than any other restaurant in town. The food is above average, but I the majority of the time, I go for the salad bar.
On the other hand, when it comes to the management, I wish that they were more understanding of their employees’ personal issues that may affect their work. The management at this restaurant is below average in the misunderstanding and failure to empathize with their employees.
I am writing this review on behalf of my partner, who once worked at this Ruby Tuesday location because I know that he is too bashful to write this on his own. My partner and I carpool, where that was his only way of transportation to Ruby Tuesday to work. On days that he was unable to work due to medical and personal matters (that were just three times total), the manager was very misunderstanding, creating narratives that he “called out more than he worked,” which was nothing but a fib. I truly wish that the manager understood that there is a personal life outside of the work life. Please be more understanding of your employees. They are just human.
I am a floater at Cookout and I understand how it is to work in fast food, let alone the restaurant industry, but I have never been treated the way that he was treated and I am very sorry for that. If I couldn’t make it to work because of a family, personal, or out-of-the-blue emergency, I made it known the very minute and my manager would empathize with me and kindly acknowledge my request off. Knowing that we are both people of color also shows me that is is possible that it may be deeper than just work ethic, it could also be a prejudice environment… I hope that color has nothing to do with it, however.

We ordered our food .. one person got the Salmon..35 min later after our burgers had already been on table approx 17 min hers came..Salmon over cooked..very dry..She also had side of mushrooms.Burned and dried Finally asked other waitress (who did not know where she was going or what to do) got our waiter..he went to get the manager. 21 min for her to come to the table only to tell us they were having difficulty with the computer..Do not know what she was really saying due to the food came out at some point So after our guest asking about a new meal she told her she would comp hers. Not asking if she would like something else.(since we 3 were finished and she had not eaten..Do I spoke up and said waite..she needs to eat..40 min later she received her meal..by this time we had been in the restraunt just about 2,hrs. So she asked for a takeout dish..took 11 min to obtain that The manager did say she was sorry but was not the dinner we had planned with a friend we had not seen in a few months The salad bar was a total disgraceful..their salad bar was dirty..lettuce old..food dropped all over counter and under salad bar..Salad dressing dripped floor and counter. no crackers..not much to choose from like usual..Not planning to return As it is only a couple of restraints I. Milledgeville you can go sit to enjoy without noise..Especially on a Monday There was a Manager at one point I think her name was Kia..s everything else do not know what happened to her.She was fantastic..The regional director really needs to clean house more ways than once.Milledgeville needs Ruby...
Read moreSo very disappointed! We live within 25-30 miles of the Milledgeville GA Ruby Tuesday. We haven’t been in a few months but decided to grab lunch. Wow! Were shocked and very disappointed!!! While the menu prices had skyrocketed, the quality of the food had plummeted. The condition and cleanliness of the restaurant has declined as well. We waited several minutes to even be greeted, much less be seated. We were ignored by two of the wait staff as they chatted, while we were fully in sight. Third waitress finally appeared after we had been there at least ten minutes, with only 9 other customers in the entire restaurant. Then the menu😳…then the food (very small portions and microwaved entrees with bland tastes). I wish I had taken my phone into the restroom so I could post pictures of the filth. I was so surprised because this has not always been the case at this restaurant. Floors were sticky, toilets looked greasy, mirror had not been cleaned in forever, toilets looked dirty, bad smell (no surprises there!!) and corners were full of dust and debris. Toilet tissue dispensers were empty in two of the three stalls. Soap dispenser was nonfunctional. I took a few pictures…the first one is a dirty tray with crumbs, food laying on it as you walk in the front door next to hostess (empty!) station and salad bar. The others pix are of the $11.99 salad bar. It was so unkempt and dirty. Wondering what’s going on here but this place won’t last much...
