My 4th location to visit & I'm happy to have another positive review. The only reason for the 4-star on food was that my shrimp & onion rings came out looking a bit overcooked ( like the oil could've been too hot, maybe). The onion rings were not crispy by the time they brought them out. It seemed like they had sat long enough, possibly covered, & their steam had softened the crust. They fell8 apart when I tried to pick one up. I'm pretty certain this is not the norm & and I am eager for my next visit & onion rings. The spinach artichoke dip was exceptional & the 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. The burgers were fantastic & dessert (yes, we did). We ordered a lemon icebox pie slice to go ( homemade, in-house) & their brownie/ice cream (name escapes me). That brownie was luciously warm & yummy! Needless to say, this location is probably my favorite. I think it seemed more open & and spacious, maybe because we were there after the lunch rush. You can tell they put a lot of work into each location. I hope to sit on the patio next visit! 😀 It was very inviting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huey’s in Millington is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! Dorothy and I were visiting her brother and his wife and decided on lunch before heading back to Cincinnati. After finding several other spots closed on Monday, we landed at Huey’s—and what a blessing that was! The restaurant is spotless, welcoming, and buzzing with military folks from nearby Naval Support Activity Mid-South. Our server, Lisa, kept us laughing with her humor and charm while delivering some of the quickest service I’ve ever experienced. We ordered two Catfish Strips with Tater Tots/Sweet Potato Fries, a Salmon Filet with a Veggie Plate, and a Reuben Sandwich. Everything arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared. The catfish was the best I’ve tasted anywhere—crispy, flavorful, and downright addictive! Greg had the same but with the sweet potato fries. Dorothy loved her salmon, and Jackie raved about the Reuben. Great location, friendly atmosphere, outstanding service, and five-star food at blue-collar prices!

As a native Memphian, I love Huey's. The first time I ate at Huey's was at the Madison location decades ago, and the quality of the fare has never suffered despite the expansion of locales. Huey's Millington is every bit the awesome experience it is at the other locations in Memphis without the crowded feeling of the Madison location. Simply put, when I want a good hamburger, I go to Huey's. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the fare is top quality, and the prices are within reason considering the quality of the food. The only downside? You may ask... is parking, and occasionally, the wait to be seated. With that said, once you are seated, there is no 20-minute wait just to order drinks... when you are seated, the wait staff is right there ready to take your order. Kudos to the owners, management, and most of all, the staff for providing one of the best dining experiences Memphis has to offer. Sorry, I forgot to take the pictures before I tore into this delicious burger.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here a few nights ago. It was absolutely terrible. I arrived first and was seated immediately, my server came over and ask for my drink order. I asked what she recommended from the bar and she says "I don't know, I can't drink". Okay... I proceed to ask for a drink menu, they do not have one, only a list of beer (even though they have a full bar set up). I decided to just ask for a long Island and water. As I'm waiting on my boyfriend my drinks arrive. I'm pretty sure that was the WORST long Island I've ever been served. I let it go and moved on to ordering appetizers, spinach dip and mozzarella sticks. The dip was okay, the mozzarella sticks had a freezer burned taste. At this point I'm debating if I want to order anything else..... we finally decide, but have to wait well over 20 minutes for the server to come back to take our order.(no they were not busy). She finally takes the order and we wait, food arrives and seems to be correct. I ordered chicken tenders buffalo style with fries, my bf ordered the trio of sliders. My tenders where so soaked in oil that you could literally squeeze the tender and it just streamed out like water. The taste was terrible, no sauce, they appeared to be pre seasoned Buffalo tenders. Yuck! My fries where hard and not warm at all. My bf's trio burgers were good but his fries were also hard. After getting our food, we never saw our waitress again. We had to wait again for well over 30 minutes just to track someone down so that we could pay and leave. Terrible food and service. We most definitely will...

Normally we love Hueys, but today was terrible. First we waited at least 5 minutes for a hostess as servers walked past. Once we were seated, we waited again until a manager asked what he could do for us. I had not asked to speak to a manager, but told him we normally have great service so we were a bit surprised. Things seemed to improve until the power went out. It was only for a second but that threw the staff into a tizzy because their computer system went down. When our food was delivered I asked for catsup. That was never delivered and I couldn't ask our server because he never checked on us after the food was delivered. He finally stopped to pick up plates and I asked for our check. He said he would bring it as soon as he could get it to print. Twenty minutes later we are still waiting for a check. How can you not have a backup to handle this job manually? They were holding us hostage because they didn't have a backup plan. We added our total up including tax and my husband went to the ATM to get cash. I walked over to the server, handed him the money and he did not even have the courtesy to look up at me. I know it is not his fault, but it was not mine either. This was our second visit this week, and I will go back to give them another chance because we love it there, but this problem needs to be rectified. On a good note, the fried pickles...
