We ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and it was perfect—the spice blend was flawless, offering just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. The real showstopper was the Hashtag Dosa. This unique take on the classic dosa features a savory mix of fresh vegetables inside instead of the standard potato filling, making it a delightfully unique and refreshing dish that I highly recommend. Truly Awful Food Our experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish. The wait time was more; we waited an unreasonable amount of time before our food finally arrived. The Food Was a Major Letdown • #special Mandi Biriyani: This dish was the main event, and it was a complete disaster. After the long wait, it was cold and shockingly bland. It lacked any of the aromatic spices and richness you expect from a biriyani. I can honestly say it was the worst biriyani I have ever tasted. • Butter Momos: This was the most confusing item we ordered. Instead of savory steamed dumplings, we were served what tasted like deep-fried spring rolls that had been haphazardly slathered in a sweet, greasy butter chicken-style sauce. I recently visited Hashtag India, and let me just say—this place is an absolute gem!The food here is something else — super authentic and packed with flavor. You can tell they don’t hold back on the spices, everything tasted just like home. I tried their biryani and tandoori first (both amazing), but what totally surprised me was the Mandi. I wasn’t expecting to find good mandi at an Indian place, but honestly? It was next level. Perfectly cooked rice, juicy meat, and that smoky touch... seriously, no one else is doing it like this.
