This is my hotel of choice when I travel to my employer's home offices and has been for the last 8-10 years. The standard Best Western Plus Breakfast deal is augmented by a free beer/wine happy hour on weekday nights with snacks that are plentiful enough to replace dinner. The hotel has been under a series of upgrades over the last 2 years with a new lobby, exterior painting and landscaping, and the restaurant/bar area is getting new extra large flat screens for watching sports. Some rooms have an outdoor patio with a north exposure so remain shady. There's a modest pool, exercise room and laundry available as well. Location is OK - maybe not the absolute best neighborhood but I've never seen any signs of crime issues except they say never leave electronics in your car anywhere in the area - that's an area far beyond the hotel neighbor hood. The hotel is convenient to major highways, stores, many restaurants. Rooms are of moderate size and comfortable and many have upgrades in bathrooms and elsewhere. All rooms have refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, large flat screen on Direct TV, and free wifi. Hands down this hotel provides the best value in the area. Lastly and best of all, the owner and staff are the best. Always friendly and offering gracious and...
Read moreThe hotel where I stayed on the night of June 30th. On the night of July 1st I put all my cash in my bag under the pillow, and on the morning of July 2nd I went to have breakfast and came back to find the room had been cleaned and the money under the pillow It was put on the table. Because I plan to go back to China, I need to do a nucleic acid test to avoid being infected. I saw that the staff did not wear masks, so I waited for her to clean up before returning to the room. Later, when I got into the room, the cleaning girl vacuumed my room again and cleaned the garbage, At night, I counted the money, and the two hundred dollars found was missing.. I'm in a really bad mood, the money I'm sure is the correct number, the day before I counted it and put it in the envelope and wrote the amount, the experience was very bad, if I knew, I wouldn't choose this hotel, and I will not continue to stay in the future. the cleaning lady said it wasn't her,I really wanted to know the result, it was my first time in California, and it left me with a very bad experience. When my friends know about it, they all ask me the name of the hotel, and they will never stay in the hotel...
Read moreWe stayed at this BW for 2 nights. Here are what I feel, Good Wifi is great: it shows 65 to 90ish mbps on fast.com and this is fast enough to work remotely. Breakfast is better than other BWs: there are more choices. Breakfast room looked luxury. Besides that, they have $30 cocktail (? not remember what kind it is) Room is not small and there is a balcony. A shopping center with groceries and restaurants is nearby. It only takes couple minutes walk. Recommend not go there at night because you need to cross a busy street with high traffic. This BW is inexpensive. Bad Sound insulation is not good: I guess mostly this is because of neighborhood guest. They were loud after 12am. I knocked on wall fiercely and yelled at them then they quiet down. PTAC unit can only set to constant temp by a wall thermostat. Panel on the unit is not working at all. Tried to set to fan only (to cover the loud neighbor) but found there;s no this setting. This is disappointed. Seemed most guests are not for business trips (compared with Santa Clara BW). Will I lodge here next time? I...
