Caffrey's Pub — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I have been to this bar over 50 times. Tonight I was extremely disappointed. I was taking part in the half off drink Wednesday special I misunderstood the sign and thought I needed to close out my bar tab before 12 to get the deal. I was wrong and I asked the bartender of there was anything I could do to rectify this since I had been there since 10 buying drinks. She told me I was illiterate for not reading the sign right. I just thought it was rude and was uncalled for. The only saving grace was the male bartender who served me. I unfortunately tipped him a small amount since my debit card had $40 on it and my drink bill ended up being $38. He was understanding of the circumstance and my misunderstanding of the rules. It was busy and loud due to a packer game, but that's cool. Free popcorn, who doesn't like popcorn with their beer? The back patio is lovely but broken fans and light fixtures and non-functional neon makes it look run down and sad. Service was...fine. Liked the fireplace and floor to ceiling front windows. Entered the bar with some friends and it was filled with some people. Our group went to get drinks and was ignored for an absurd amount of time. Perhaps they were busy I thought. However, throughout the night as thinned started to die down we were given the same treatment; long wait times, inappropriate gestures as well as insensitive conversation from tenders.
