Chubby’s Cheesesteaks East Side — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I ordered from a place on EatStreet called The Breakfast Club thinking it was a local restaurant. Turned out it was actually Chubby’s under a different name for some reason so I was disappointed in that. This “The Breakfast Club” place has no website, no Facebook page, no Yelp page, absolutely nothing. The only way I found out anything about them was trough EatStreet and I found some reviews on GrubHub’s website after I already ordered...the reviews were terrible.

My food came and I was disappointed to say the least. I ordered some breakfast platter they had. The “bacon” was very obviously fake. Very rubbery and chewy and dark in color. The scrambled eggs and chicken patty it came with had absolutely no flavor. The chicken patty was also wet and soggy on the bottom of it. The only things that were edible were the Belgian waffle and the tater tots. The tater tots had good flavor and seasonings on them. They may have been a bit on the salty side but not too heavily. The waffle was nice and soft and the syrup that came with it was delicious. Overall I was very disappointed in this order. You could tell nothing was cooked fresh and everything was reheated and stuck in a couple styrofoam boxes. I am definitely trying to get a refund from EatStreet or somebody. My money was definitely wasted seeing as almost all my food went in the damn garbage.

Do not get anything from this place. Stay far away and use your money somewhere that deserves it and...

Restaurant appeared pretty clean, but the soda machine was dirty and every choice of drink I chose was unavailable. As far as the Cheese steak I ordered..... horrible. First off why is the meat all chopped up as if a toddler is consuming it. This sandwich SUCKED, do your self a favor and get a cheese steak from Cousins or Charleys because Chubbys is awful. I only ordered a cheese steak combo with lettuce tomatoes onions, fries and a drink. The sandwich was made to order and I requested provolone cheese, when I bit into the sandwich the cheese was cold and the meat wasnt good at all and my pallot was not pleased with the fact that my meat was all chopped and minced looking in taste and texture. I threw this mess away, and was afraid the trash can was gonna shoot that crap back at me! This was a waste of my $ 13.99, should've just went to Cousins! They get 1 star because its needed to post this and they couldve at least had the soda fountain stocked with fruit punch, everyone doesn't want soda! Note: I only had the cheese steak, but I seriously will not try anything else due to the condition of that cheese steak sandwich, wont...

Mediocre experience. The staff was very unprofessional and things seemed to be very disorganized there. The cook that greeted me must not speak/read English very well because I pointed to a big, colorful sign which had a 9.99 value meal and he didn't seem to understand what I wanted.

The sandwich I ordered tasted as blah as a sandwich can taste. The meat had no seasoning or flavor and wasn't quite done. The bread tasted terrible and as we all know bread can make or break a sandwich. The fries were actually very good. That's the only thing I'll ever buy from there again IF I ever go back.

The lemonade was watered down and unflavorful. Pretty small portion too. About the size of a typical plastic SOLO cup. I would advise people to stay away from the cheesesteak sandwiches if you don't want to waste your money. In fact, I wouldn't order anything that requires any cooking skill to prepare quite honestly.
