AVOID THIS LOCATION! GO TO A DIFFERENT FUSION POKE IN MILWAUKEE! I ordered lunch for pick up at the Fusion Poke on Kenilworth yesterday, only to show up and find that all of the doors were locked, with a small index card taped to the door, stating their power was out. I waved to one of the workers who were sitting inside, and they waved me away, until they finally came out of a side door when they realized I wasn’t leaving. The lady who came out to speak to me only put her head out of the door and was NOT friendly right off the bat. I explained to her that I ordered food for pick up on the fusion poke website, it was confirmed by the store, and my payment went through. She did not care. She told me that the power is out and they are not taking orders. I told her that I understood they could not make my food, but they did confirm my order and I PAID for it, so I asked how to go about getting a refund. The lady was very aggressive, condescending, and refused to give me a refund or discuss how to go about that. Throughout the conversation, she rolled her eyes at me 20+ times and continuously cut me off every time I tried to ask a question. I was very kind to her and understanding of the fact that they could not make my order, I was simply asking how to go about getting a refund once their power came back on. Once again, she refused to help me and basically told me it was my problem to figure out. After this, I drove to the fusion poke in the third ward where they were so so so kind, welcoming, and made my order in five minutes. I have yet to get my money back from this location and I will no longer be eating here. I will instead take my business to the third ward location, and I suggest you do the same if you don’t want to be scammed by these shady,...
Read moreThe restaurant looks crowded when you first walk in because the tables are so close together and the staff was arguing with each other on what food was getting put out first while we were waiting for our order. Then our order comes out the same thing we always get and the tea tastes funny like it was not the correct syrup mixed in or something. The wings were also entirely too crunchy like break your tooth off crunchy. I brought the food back and demonstrated how hard the chicken was by tapping it on the counter in the chicken did not move it sounded like a rock hitting the surface. When they came to address my concern they said that is how it is always made in the sauce is served on the side. They only gave me a small container of sauce that was the size of a dipping cup that wouldn't have been able to cover all 12 wings that I ordered. When I explained to him that this is not how it's done at other locations that I frequently go to they explain this is how they serve it at theirs. I said I understand but can you please remake these wings because they are entirely too hard and this is not enough sauce to cover all of them or to please remake them with the sauce on it. Initially they refused and then after going back and forth they complied and remade my wings but refused to remake the kiwi tea that was not kiwi tea. The lady at the cash register threw the tea in the garbage and then sat down and try to charge me for another tea when I asked her to simply switch the flavor because it did not taste right to my son. I informed her politely that we would not be visiting this location again because the service was very disrespectful and they were very unprofessional arguing in front of customers. We will not be going back to this...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start. Just wanted some decent quality sushi on a sunny Sunday afternoon and thought fusion poke would be a good idea, WRONG. Walked in and ordered the sushi that was slightly overpriced compared to other sushi restaurants. Sat down and waited forever when the restaurant was completely empty and the sushi that was worse quality than metro market. Then when the sushi came out the waitress didn’t know who ordered what rolls so we had to figure it out ourselves. She also gave me the wrong roll. While we’re eating the “sushi chef” and the hostess start arguing about the chef no answering any of her calls the previous night, little weird to bring this up out loud in front of customers but whatever. By this point me and two other of my friends are pissed about everything then we hear a loud pounding noise coming from the back of the kitchen that lasted about 10 minutes non stop. I have no idea what it could’ve been but it’s a little crazy also to do that with customers in the restaurant. After finishing my sushi I made my friends eat faster so we could leave to stop hearing the loud banging noise from the kitchen. Once we left I felt relief having been done with the whole experience. Literally one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life . I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all. I will actually go out of my way to make sure nobody goes to that restaurant ever. DO NOT GO. Metro market sushi is more...
