This review will be broken into three parts. This happened on Sunday, April 30th. 630 pm. Had a company dinner. 25 guest. Atmosphere. Upon entering was greeted promptly. The restaurant was nice and clean and well organized. Medium size crowd. Food. I can only give an opinion on some food since the size of the table is to many. I had a bowl of clam chowder. This was some of the weakest chowder I've had. The based was runny not a thick chowder quality. Few clams and for the price not at worth it. I put this chowder in par with something out of a can.Very disappointed. I had the 21oz bone in ribeye from the prime steak menu with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Price $74. The side was onion rings. Once I got the meal it came on a sizzling cast iron plate. I first noticed that's amount of butter was more then expected. There was the chard marks but no crunch of a crust. The reason was to much butter. First bite. Then meat was tender but the garlic butter was overpowering. It completely over took any type of seasoning or crust. Disappointed. I compared this steak to the one at Morton's that I had last month. Same steak and price. Sorry but Morton's was 10 times better. I could actually taste the seasoning and had a crust. The onion rings were nothing great but was not bad. Had the chocolate cake 3 layers.. excellent. A co worker had the sea bass. I asked if he would recommend it. It said no at all. Not very well done. Other coworkers said their meals were good and some said some of the items were not. The lobster Mac and cheese were underwhelming from two people. Overall feeling was they don't see themselves coming back anytime soon. Service. Sorry not sure who's fault this is, but for 25 guest we had one server. Orders got messed up, meals were missing and I could see the frustration on her and was told she was rude to a few coworkers..one being our manager. I would think with that's big of a group..yes we had called one week before to reserve a table, they would of made sure at least 2 servers to keep things organized. My recommendation is- if your looking for a steak house quality type of steak..go to one that is well known. Here is a nice family meal that's good but not great for the price. If you do go don't go with a large group based on our service..

I have been hesitating to leave this review but I do have to share because of the experience we had I just have to share it with others. My hubby and I wanted to do a nice reasonable dinner at Claim Jumpers for a nice date night (first nice one we’ve had in awhile) and we wanted to spend money on a fancy steak dinner so we got excited to order up here. We didn’t expect the bill vs what we got so I’ll just explain that. We ordered a bone in rib eye (the al la cart $81 steak) and some sides, the steak was over cooked unfortunately, I said medium rare but more on the rare side I just didn’t want it to be seared and purple like some places do (hope that makes sense) well it was medium and tasted/looked like a NY Stip Steak (my husbands steak in the picture) so not worth the $81. I felt bad for him because my rib eye I ordered came out rare and was delicious but definitely not worth $70ish because it was also al la cart but looked like a good steak you could buy at Fred Myers and grill up at home. Idk I’m sad because I used to just love this place but I notice the prices have gone up drastically if not then the steakhouse menu is just not it and a rip off in my opinion. The waitress was nice but she was the only one there, and we got our drinks late so we only ordered one drink because it sat at the bar for some time (you can see we don’t have the drinks with dinner since we had to ask the lady who brought our food to grab the drinks). Then on top of that we did mention to the lady who brought our food out that the steak didn’t look like the one we ordered (the one that looked like the cheaper NY strip steak) but she said it was ours and set it down. Food was good but not worth our bill coming out to $300 ($45 tip included)

Not a great experience. Wife and I came in for an early dinner. Maybe four or five others eating that we saw so not busy yet. I asked which Sam Adams seasonal was available like it said to ask in the menu, waitress said its just called seasonal...its not. I said if it ends up being the winter lager I want that, if not then a guinness. She brought me a beer that was definitely not the winter lager or the guinness, but whatever I hate complaining so I will just drink it. My wife had tea and a salad, little expensive for a house salad, but its a steak house so its to be expected. I ordered the steak and shrimp with a baked potato and seasonal veggies. The potato was fine, veggies ended up being zucchini and onion, lots of onions. The shrimp was not bad, pretty normal, but the medium rare steak was more like medium well/well. I do not like to complain..so I was going to eat it anyways, but it wasn't even seasoned well. The waitress never came by after dropping off the food until she was ready to give us our check. I ended up taking a couple bites of the steak, but it was not edible, at least for the price they were charging for it. They did offer to make me a new one, but it had been 30 minutes and we were ready to just leave at that point. The manager took off $20 from the check, so I paid for the potato, veggies, and shrimp. It was a very small steak, but more so because they cooked it way too long. Not a great deal. I would not recommend anyone coming here. The waitress and manager didn't seem to care at all, more like annoyed that I didn't just eat it.

I'm sorry for a long review, but this is all important stuff to know. First of all, the server was kind, a little snarky with the humor. We ordered our drinks, a beer and water and they arrived timely. We ordered food and there was a major language barrier, and confusion. I wanted both of the sides that came with the dish, AND to pay for an extra side. However, the waiter insisted I have to remove one side that comes with the dish to "replace" with the extra side. Sigh THEN our appetizers were forgotten, pretzel bites and calamari. Our order came out in less than 10 minutes, not at all the amount of time that should have been taken to cook chicken fried steak, roasted vegetables, macaroni & cheese and make a sandwich and fries. I immediately knew the food was going to be old. The vegetables were soggy, cold and undercooked, the carrots were tough and the zucchini was mush. The macaroni & cheese tasted premade, and was somehow dry. The sauce ("gravy") on the chicken fried steak had definitely been sitting around in the pot, it had a thick skin on top by the time it got to me (think: "pudding skin"). The chicken fried steak was (two very thin pieces of meat) the only hot part of the meal but it was almost charred, burnt my lips a bit. Everything else was quite cold as if it had all been premade. My husbands sandwich was okay for the first two bites, but then he got to the middle and he actually choked on the saltiness. As if the chef had dumped salt into the middle instead of lightly sprinkling it on. The sandwich was also cold, as if it was made at different times than my food. The french fries were not fresh, they were limp and cold. ON TO THE MANAGEMENT. The manager who handled our complaint was awesome. He apologized and took our food back, listened to our complaints and before we left we noticed him in the kitchen checking things out. We willingly offered to pay for the beer as it was the only thing that was finished when we left, and we did pay for it. Yes, we ate only a couple bites of each food. All in all, we will not be returning. I had high hopes but this was not it for us. We left hungry and unsatisfied. We were well on our way to spend $80+ on this food & drinks. I rarely refuse to pay, even if the meal is bad, but I couldnt get past one bite of each food. So sad, I had heard good things from people who ate here in the past. This tells me that the restaurant is losing its status, its quality, and above all,...

When you come to a place like this and see the decor and get seated by a very friendly waiter and the very exorbitant prices you’re expectations are set high! Unfortunately by the end of the night we were left overwhelmingly underwhelmed.

The night started out with a very friendly waitress taking our drink order and bringing drinks within a few minutes. Leaving us to look at the menu. The waitress didn’t come back to actually take our order for another 10 min and though this seemed a bit long wasn’t that bad.

The appetizers made there way too us about 15 min later again long enough to be a bit annoyed but not long enough to complain. The pretzel bites quickly became the start of the show nice and crispy and very tasty!

About 10 min later the waitress came out stating the food would be out shortly and cleared the table for us. Yet it was actually another 10 min before we saw our main course (we checked and based on the time of arrival it was 55 min t to get the food).

The food for 2 off the the people was that immediately taken back because it came out cold. We got a pretty prompt response to this with what I’m assuming was the manager or just someone dressed fancy coming over to explain they were going to reheat the steaks up and bring them back. In the meantime they asked if we would like anything while we wait. Foolishly we made the mistake of thinking this was like a compensation offer like a freebie so we ordered more pretzel bites but later saw it was charged to us as well.

The plates came back and everything was nice and hot took about 10 min to get them back and finally we cut into the steaks. One was voice cooked well done as requested while the other requested at medium came out barely passable as rare.

This whole experience was just sad. Fortunately my meal was the only one with nothing wrong with it but I came away still hungry from the small portions given and went somewhere else to get another bite to eat.

The Bill came out to 130$ for 3 people and they took off 20$ for the trouble.

This would be a 1 star experience if the pretzel bites were not...
