I came in to look after eating sushi next door. I wasn’t planning to paint, but there were plenty of cute options to choose from. The studio is bright and welcoming and just lovely. Christina and Ruthie were there and were both very friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable too. I really loved how useful the glaze layout was—they had multiple color guides and examples so you know what the glazes will look like once fired. They also had different examples of how pieces will look, depending on how many layers of glaze you use. They provided plenty of paint brushes and tools, and changed out the water whenever it got murky. I accidentally dropped the lid to the pet treat jar I was painting, and Ruthie went above and beyond to try and help me fix it. She ground the sharp edges down for me to repaint, and did her best to ask coworkers for advice. I really appreciated her patience and willingness to help. Color Me Mine was a wonderful experience. I anticipated a crowd, but found the place empty when we arrived—plenty of space and time to pick out pieces out and then design our masterpieces. The staff were welcoming, courteous, and pleasant. Someone was always willing to get us more paint, change out the water in our rinse bowls, and ask any questions we had. I felt like the variety of pieces available was a bit more unique than other studios, which allowed for a more fun experience start to finish. Had such a great time at Color Me Mine! There were so many great options and lots of paint colors and glazes to choose from. The staff were wonderful and super sweet and they explained every detail of the process in a way that was super easy to understand - even helped get you started by bringing your colors you select to you to start out with!
