We have been loyal customers of Arturos since they opened a few years ago, we live in the area and considered it one of the better places to get a unique pie, until this last order which was terrible and undercooked! My partner was basically sick with ecoli for 4 days and is now just staring to feel herself again after ordering on Saturday and today is Wednesday. The whole pizza was undercooked, the sausages were basically raw, the jalapeños were hard and looked like they had been left sitting out, the pineapple on her side were dry and didn't look good at all! We were surprised at this but trusted it would be fine after we bit into a couple of slices because we had only one mild illness from them about 2 years ago, and the last couple of times we ordered the cooking was suspect because like this time the toppings and cheese just fell off like it was not cooked all the way but this time it was terrible! We were both cramped up after 2 hours of eating this crap and had to immediately got to the bathroom for a few hours, I faired better than her because I only had sausage and pepperoni on my side, but hers was topped with jalapeños and pineapple and onion, and it made her deathly ill with constant stomach pain, diarrhea, headaches, and extreme nausea! She could not get out of bed for two days!

We reached out via email before deciding to write this review because I actually like the guys that run the place to let them know what happened and how bad it was and to be careful with the cooking, but with no reply, as we are not the types to go on the internet and cry about a restaurant especially one we have been going to for years, but this was almost traumatic and seeing that no one decided it was worth addressing or replying after 5 days, I decided to let the rest of Minneapolis know to be careful, they have went downhill and do not cook their food properly or theres dirty hands cooking the food or at least there were Saturday night, and it almost caused someone to go to the ER for extreme food poisoning! Go to another place for a Saturday night pie, because this place...

Have ordered delivery several times from this place with no issues. Food was always really good and I'd often order it for my group.

Unfortunately, the last time I ordered from there, it wasnt great.

I ordered: two orders of mac n cheese because i"ve had it many times and its amazing. This time, upon digging into the meal, I could only stomach about three bites.

The mac was surprisingly bitter and inedible-- I mean it almost tasted as if someone had purposely put a bittering agent into the food it was so bad. No hyperbole, I almost vomited.

I ended up throwing away the mac and cheeses after trying them both.

My own conclusion was that either the cheese, or the other dairy ingredients had been rancid or rotten. Also, there was very little cheese to begin with( could barely see any after opening, only a little on the bottom, and didnt look melted/ looked chunky.)

This tasted nothing like the mac and cheese I'd ordered so many times before, and I'll probably not order from this place again in the future. I did call the restaurant and let them know, but the person who answered didn't seem too concerned that they may have been serving this to many others. I didn't receive a call back from the restaurant or a refund from DoorDash.

I also ordered some custom pasta which was good as always, but definitely not worth risking my health over since there's clearly some issues with proper food...

Went in on a whim after working. We pre ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with a basket of fries. All I gotta say is, amazing. Best pizza I’ve had since moving here to the Cities, crispy, not too much sauce, and the TOPPINGS, big hunks of chicken, fried shallots adding that crispy crunchy that makes you wanna munch, fresh green onions, sliced bacon cut up in pieces make you scream MORE! And that Cry Baby Craigs hot sauce, if you haven’t tried that get on it! Friendly and over the top staff, felt like one of the family coming in for a plate. Guy working behind the counter gave us our pizza, cut open the label for us and gave us plates, napkins and a pizza spatula so we could enjoy our meal. Asked us what we thought and that’s why I’m doing the review, spectacular service, food and atmosphere. Sorry for no picture, we devoured most of it and the rest to take home. Thank you staff of Arturo’s, you made a non bbq pizza eater a believer! We...

If memory serves correct we paid around $13 to $15 for the pizza pictured. Pizza sauce was great, cheese was no overly stringy which for me is a plus as I dont like stringy, stretchy cheese though I know my opinion on that is not the norm. Pizza is thin crust. It has never been overly busy when we go so there has been no wait for a table. Usually wait around 10 minutes or so for the pizza itself to be ready. The location also has Jarritos to buy, which is always a favorite. Unaware of parking as I have always just walked here. There is street parking though I have never paid attention to if it is paid or not.

This is some real pizza here folks. I got the House Classic and an order of cheesy bread. The pizza was flawlessly executed. At first glance I thought it was a tad undercooked, but the crust, the cheese, and that pepperoni were all perfectly cooked. This type of classic thin crust pizza is a style that’s sorely missing in this city, and with the fresh ingredients, the perfect balance and the evidence of a strong attention to detail this pie really delivered. The cheesy bread was also both different from what I normally see in this city, and very delicious. Lastly, service was very fast and very friendly.

Drove past this place all the time so we finally tried it. The artichoke dip was pretty greasy but tasted great! I loved the bread that came with it but wasn’t very evenly toasted. The pizza had a very thin crust, the sauce was kind of sweet? Spicy? I’m not sure there was something very different about it. Not my cup of tea but it wasn’t bad. We were the only ones in there except two people picking up to go orders so the vibes for our experience weren’t great. Ample seating inside. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Parking was a nightmareee.
