Most bland Indian food I ever had in my life. Most items were stale and bad tasting. I ordered Samosas, Pani Puri, Vada Pav sliders and mango lassi. They were all so bad that I couldn't tell you what was worse. But let's first start with pani puri. The presentation was good but that's it! The puris were stale and the filling was raw and super cold. The pani (spiced water) tried to make up for the bad taste but barely succeeded.

On to the Samosas. Their large size and crispiness were mired by the stuffing. When I took my first bite, I couldn't taste anything! Tried more and more and then drown the bites in the red and green chutney but to just worsen the taste as the chutney were too tart and imbalanced.

Supremely disappointed by the first two, I went on to try the vada pav slides and again it was so bad, I wanted to throw up. The batter was too thick and lacked any taste. I could make out a mild taste of garlic and ginger but the stuffing lacked all other spices! Again, the sour chutneys would make matters worse. I had to leave all that food on the table and fill up my stomach with extremely sweet mango lassi. The final bill was over $40 with tax and tip and the feeling was being robbed by the chef and the restaurant of the pride I had in Indian food and culture.

Adding to the insult, the servers were super rude and couldn't care less about the experience. Ambience was extremely noisy and poorly lit. There's nothing I would recommend about this place and wanted to forget like a bad dream. Search other reviews for a keyword "bland" and also make sure to read one star reviews to see the consistency in my experience.

This certainly doesn't qualify as Indian food, don't be fooled by...

First time having true Indian food and I have to admit, I was nervous, but I was absolutely impressed.

Everything was so delicious, beautifully plated, the portions are very generous (I have leftovers for at least 2 meals), the atmosphere is super cozy (and romantic), the staff were so friendly and attentive, we didn't have to wait to be seated (party of 3 around 7:30pm on a Monday), and our food came out super fast! ✨

They also provided a complimentary birthday dessert (homemade mango ice cream, yum!) for the birthday gal in our group with a candle and all 🎉🥭

And last but not least, the prices are outstandingly affordable! We got 3 special drinks (2 Mango Lassi, 1 Masala Chai Tea), an appetizer (Mixed Pakora), 3 sides of Naan, 2 Dal entrees, and 1 Veg Biryani entree, and our total bill was around $70 (excl. tip and excl. complimentary dessert), WHAT!!

Definitely will be coming back here 😍😋🤤

My only suggestions for MINOR improvement are:

The chai was bland, just tasted like hot milk, and and needed more spice.

The music selection was not good. I am talking like mid-2010s top 40, such as Katy Perry, Pink, and Megan Trainor, some of the same songs played multiple times in the time we were there (so like max. 2 hours?) I'm sure there's somebody out there that likes that but def not our jam, lol. Maybe some subtle instrumental Indian music would be more suitable for...

We loved our dining experience here! The restaurant is well decorated featuring the building’s architectural designs as well having more than enough seating, a large bar area and a private dining room as well.

Service was fantastic! We ordered a little of everything to try the menu.

We ordered: Sassy Lassi (Alcoholic Mango Lassi) Saag Paneer Mango Coconut Curry Tandoori Chicken Chicken Biryani Chili Chicken Garlic Naan Gulab Jamun

We are not experts in Indian Cuisine so this was our first time choosing a wide spread of options.

The bar had a wide selection of traditional American and Indian inspired cocktails which we were made elegantly and properly. Everything we ordered came out quick at the perfect temperature. Each dish was flavorful, cooked well, spicy and satisfying. Every dish tasted amazing and was visually appealing.

The Gulab Jamun was a great dessert, it was house made pastries soaked in a sweet sauce.

Overall all, I highly recommend dining for your Indian fix. We were impressed with the quality of everything and we look forward to...
