I have fond memories of grabbing drinks here after work. The specials are really incredible some nights, but the bartenders need a little improvement. Tonight was a tremendous example of how not to make money as a bartender. I went with some coworkers, and was served my first drink in a reasonable amount of time. Not fast, but in an amiable amount of time. I finished it quickly, and was ready for a second. After about 5 minutes of sitting with an empty glass in front of me the boyfriend(I assume based upon the conversation) of the bartender showed up, and was given quick service. After the bartender was done chatting with her boyfriend she decided to finally serve other patrons of the bar. She started with a coworker with a 1/3 full glass, and then would have finished had I not called out that I wanted another beverage. I feel it is rude to have to verbally demand the attention of a bartender. I have respect for how they handle themselves and their customers, so I really only inject myself in how they do things when I realize that I am not going to get service until I force it. This was one of those rare times. After finishing my second drink, I regretted not ordering a pair of beverages as my second order because I did not have a third time to order. I sat patiently waiting with cash in my hand for 15 minutes or more while the bartender entered receipts, and the barback collected my empty glass for washing (neglected to let the bartender know that there was a customer ready for another drink). Finally friends of the bartenders boyfriend showed up. She served them in a matter of minutes, and I assumed she would run down the bar to at least check on the other customers, but, alas, her conversation with her boyfriend and his friends took precedence over making money for the establishment, as well as herself. After realizing that she didn't care to serve customers that weren't her boyfriend or his friends I decided to relocate to an establishment that actual serves their guests. I spent about an hour at the place, sitting at the bar the entire time, and was only served two drinks with the majority of the time gazing at an empty glass, pondering whether or not the bartender actually wanted to be a bartender. It wasn't the first time I've had a poor experience with this bartender, but it will probably be the last. If I walk up the stairs again and she is behind the bar, and doesn't seem to be giving a damn about anyone except the people she knows, I guarantee you I will gladly take my...
Read moreMy work group placed an order for five people on a Friday at 11:15. We were told it would be delivered in 30-40 minutes. After an hour we called and were told it would be delivered shortly. 30 minutes later for a total time of 1 hour 30 minutes our order arrived. When I called Friday at about 3:30 the young lady answering the phone indicated a manager was not available. She ask about why I was calling and her response was "we had 66 orders" and "that estimated delivery times are estimates." Then mentioned if I wanted a refund, she guessed that she could take my number. What I was actually looking for was a simple apology and something to the effect of "We were take by surprise by the large volume or orders and are making changes to prevent it from happening in the future." So I hung up and tried to speak to a manager again Saturday at about 1:30. Again the person (this time a young sounding male) would not let me speak with a manager. When I explained the situation, my conversation the previous day, and asked if this was their standard for customer service. He after a number of "ums" stated that they "don't like it when orders take that long." Again no apology. This is my first EVER negative review. I am doing it because I don't believe that management can address an issue if they never hear about the issue in the...
Read moreSTOLE MY ID AND GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE They demanded I give my driver's license to them when I ordered a fishbowl to split with my friends and then when I went back to get my license the bartender (Cam, who was drunk and talking to his friends) had given my ID to another girl and tried to give me her's. I told him it wasn't my ID (the picture and name were not even close to mine) and he told me he didn't have my ID anymore. He said he had given it to someone else. He told me that it would be returned the next morning and that I could pick it up at 11am or be refunded for the price of a new ID. The next day I went back around 1pm, my ID was not there and they refused to refund me the price of my enhanced drivers license. They refused to give me the owner's number, or Cam's, or anyone's so I could ask about it, and provided no real help. They had no customer service and the employees are all very unreliable and not responsible. My ID should have never been given to someone else. ID theft is huge security risk for me and for the bar. I had to put in a police report and report my ID stolen because of Cam's...
