Had extremely high hopes for this place, but please avoid unless you do not care about the quality of service, want mediocre fish and have unlimited $$ to spend.

First of all, the price of entrees at this price would be the equivalent of dining at any of the other fine dining establishments in the neighborhood. However, the service is extremely lacking. Our $16 cocktails were served DRIPPING - one of them was from the cocktail itself which had spilled because the server was carrying a bunch of other water glasses and tipped this over. Lost at least 10% of the drink and she didn't even acknowledge it or wipe it down, and our food was served without any utensils. My husband actually went to the bathroom to wash his hands because they were so sticky from his drink, and got a paper towel to wipe his drink. Photo attached.

Second, the food is the same price as Billy sushi and I never thought I would say this but Billy is an actually better experience from a service and atmosphere, and quality of fish. These tables for 2 are extremely close together. And if you sit on the booth side you are sitting where 2 booths meet.

$60 bluefin sashimi that could not have been freshly cut by the looks and taste of it and rolls were mid. The tempura batter in one of the rolls was way too thick.

Finally, a $208 bill, $250 after tip. I came here for my bday and mentioned it on resy but it wasn't even acknowledged. My fault for choosing this place for a special occasion...

Now this is a spot Minneapolis needs. I came across Cobble Social House by an invite from a friend and did not know what to expect. A little tough to find in the parking lot of D'Nolo but a creative take on a social house. Walked in to see a fashion forward location, windows that brought in great light, and a spot I would love to call my own.

The bar was busy but the layout gave some freedom to walk around and still get a cocktail easily. The bartenders noticed and acknowledged me as I walked in so I knew I didn't have to fight for their attention. I immediately got a signature cocktail with their logo burned into a lemon rind. Very unique presentation and the glassware had some design to it.

I walked around and ended upstairs on a couch in a more private area where I met a few friends. Apparently you can buy just about anything in the place. There was some really interesting artwork that I almost got convinced to take home. We ended up spending the whole night there after completely losing track of time. A few hours in I ended up ordering a few appetizers that were a perfect touch while having our craft cocktails. It was nice to meet Joe the manager, he had came by to see how we were doing and had a great chat with him. I have to say I have not been that relaxed going out for a long time and you will find...

My wife and I went to jazz bar with a couple of friends last night, after leaver we went to another place called “Cobble Social House”.. we spent a good amount of money and time with them catching up with some friends and ironically talking about the same issue that was about to happen as we were leaving. After last call, I asked the waitress where the bathroom was. She pointed me to were it was “its the first right past the bar, before the exit”.

I got up and as I’m passing the bar, completely unwarranted, and unprovoked, a guy yells from behind the bar “hey that bathroom is Whites Only…. hahahahah” I’m not going to drag this out, but he tried to shake my hand and apologize as soon as he saw the look on my face He apologized and tried to give us drinks and made excuses for about 10 minutes on how it was some form of insider joke with other people behind the bar (including his Asian wife), before we ended up just leaving. The catch is, we found out this was the owner who made the comment, and he was a black man.

I immediately was disappointed. It ruined a great night, and our first time hanging the...
