I don't know how many years I have been here, but suffice it to say that since coming here before the pandemic, I have been in love with this place, and post-pandemic is no exception. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the entire Twin Cities, and everytime I come to the Midtown Global Market, despite many choices, I would almost exclusively come here for food. I have been an avid fan of the beef couscous because the beef was very tenderly cooked and extremely tasty. All the vegetables and the couscous along with the beef were able to provide another layer of flavor if one wished for it. I have also tried the lamb shank tagine before, and the tenderness of the lamb was no exception. Coming here has never failed to be an amazing experience. The owner has also been extremely nice everytime, showing lots of care and hospitality. Once after finishing a plate, seeing that I finished it very fast, he provided me with another plate on the house. I thought it was very wholesome. Easily a food spot I would take every visitor to if they come to the Twin Cities!

Simply delicious. This was the best lamb shank ever. My wife and I stopped at the global market to try different varieties of foods and when she told me about Moroccan food I said "yes let's try it, let's see what they have to offer here". I saw one of the cooks eating soup, but I did not see it on the menu. When I asked about it, the owner he told me that if I liked it he can make one for me, and he did. The homemade soup was great, the combination of two different type of fish, shrimp and fresh vegetables with Moroccan spices. My wife ordered the lamb shank after my suggestion because I wanted to try it. So we shared the food and I try the lamb and then my taste buds went crazy, so good, so delicious. We like the food so much that we complemented the owner who was great. He offered us mint tea, and we also received a sampler of slow cooked beef. Great experience.

Healthy and tasty! I got the kofta tagine (meatballs) while my friend got the chicken couscous. The sauce that the meatballs came in paired so well with the beef and rice. The veggies were a flavorful and colorful addition to the plate. You got everything from spicy to sweet to acidic all in the same plate. An absolute delight! I took a bite of my friend's chicken and it was incrediby tender and fell right off the bone. It tasted like my moms chicken curry which was an added bonus haha. Definitely coming here again. Also, the owner is super nice and incredibly friendly :) One pet peeve - the booth seating is absolutely horrible. There is literally no legroom (see pictures). Unless you want to be in a very intimate situation with the person opposite to you, these booths are unusable.

The food in insanely good!!! I come to Midtown just for this restaurant. I also have brought multiple friends here. I wish I were a better photographer with regards to the lighting, but here is a pic of the: - Lamb shank tagine. The lamb was tender, delicious, and really brought out the best flavors of lamb. The sweetened cooked dried apricots and plums are out-of-this world and pair perfectly with the lamb. - Salad sampler. My favorites are the grilled eggplant, marinated olives, and roasted beets. The salad sampler is so fun b/c each salad has complex, delicate, tasty flavors. It is a culinary journey. - For dessert, I had the oranges with rosewater and cinnamon. The combination of high-quality flavors were an amazing experience.

My friend got the Kofta tagine here and it was amazing! I personally didn't get anything from this restaurant, but felt compelled to leave a review as the service was above and beyond! First, they validated our parking without us having to ask, and then when many of the restaurants were closing at 8 and they were having us pack up our stuff and leave, the kind gentleman at Moroccan flavors helped us move our stuff over to his section so we could stay longer and finish our food. He then gave us a free sample of the mint tea (which is amazing btw...so sweet and good!) And a cup of water (again, without us having to ask!) I highly recommend eating here next time you go the midtown global market. I definitely will!!

The food is both authentic and good, but it can be even great if the food temperature was right. What this place gets right: spices, authenticity, quick service. What could easily be improved are the side dishes. I ordered the beef couscous. The dish comes with the slow brazed beef and fine, hot couscous, in addition to the coarse, cold couscous salad, a green salad, red peppers, and olives. All of these side dishes taste very good but they're cold, coming straight out of the fridge. What you end up with is a mixed cold/hot dish.
