No matter how many times I have tried to like this place, it has become one of my worst disappointments. I've been here many times since it is convenient but 7 out of the 10 times I have been here they have had my drink wrong. To be specific I can explain one situation I have encountered. I ordered an ice blended taro bubble tea with pearls, and trust me I've had this drink before and it was just fine to me. But today it was chunky, no not ice chunky, but powdery chunky. And of course I went back and notified the barista about the taste but for an excuse another lady walked out saying that their consistency of taro bubble tea is like that. Of course I did not take that for an answer knowing it was a lie and said to her that I've had it before and it did not taste like that. As she realized that I realized she had just tried to make a lie she stated something unbelievable to me. She said that it was probably because their taro was old. In my head I was surprised and angry as to why she would say that because if their product was old they should not be feeding it to their customers. I didn't want to be rude so I just asked for a new one and the barista did make me a new one and yet it was rushed and not ice blended but watery. Yep, another disappointment. By that time they were about to close so I decided just to forget it. Overall, after many tries I can not go back to buy anything else from this place.

On the good side, the drinks I've had that was not a disappointment were the iced thai teas.

We come here a lot and usually the customer service is appropriate. I was disappointed on this visit. The person was washing dishes and after about a few minutes the person came to the register. Didn’t greet, didn’t smile, and didn’t apologize for taking time. I had to be the one to say hello. The person didn’t even ask what I wanted. I understand that some of these members are college students. At the same time, it’s important to demonstrate exceptional customer service to ensure customers come back and refer the place to other members of the community. I don’t blame the management but I do think this needs to be addressed to all those that work the register. I even asked if she was new and she immediately asked why. I was in the hope’s to speak with the manager just to provide live feedback but unfortunately they were not there. I’d also suggest to move the size of the cups near the menu on the wall then to the right side. The music can sometimes be a little loud so if you’re looking for a quiet place just bring some headphones.

almost every single time there is an issue with the drinks, even when you tip the employees.

i usually order a milk tea, and multiple times ive received it and it tasted floral/fruity, as if there was residue from the previous customers drink in the container used to mix the drinks. its gross. they do not clean the containers/shakers well enough between uses.

one of the last times i went, a few weeks ago, i had a drink that tasted off, so i politely asked staff to remake it. they remade it and the new remade drink tasted like STRAIGHT UP ALCOHOL/CLEANER, or SOMETHING. i dont know what was put into that drink but i threw the entire $9 drink away. that is absolutely unacceptable.

i emailed niko niko support about this issue the day it happened and never received a response or anything. terrible customer service.
