Rebecca's is my favorite (honestly, the best) bakery and cafe in the Twin Cities. This new space on East Franklin is the friendliest any-time-of-day stop, offering impeccable Italian pastries, cakes, and coffees, as well as generously-portioned, delicious Ethiopian dishes. As far as specific recommendations go, I will always come back for the cream puffs, berbere-spiced ful with fresh bread, espresso, tangy cannoli, house-roasted coffee beans, fruit tarts of varying sizes, baci di dama, ricotta tarts, and tiramisu, mocha, & lemon cakes. The 1-3 times a week I stop by to pick up a single treat, meal, or full box for a dinner party is possible because everything is so affordable. I don't have to try baking because Rebecca's is in my neighborhood. Excellent food and dessert aside, the family who owns and runs Rebecca's will make you feel welcomed and excited to try everything in their cases. Without any hyperbole, I feel unable to move away from Seward unless Rebecca's moves with me. Come here once and you won't stop coming back!

I visited Rebecca's Bakery with my husband and daughter today after a doctor's appointment for our daughter. We looked online to see what was nearby and wanted to try this place. I see why they have a Google rating of almost 5 stars! The service and food are exceptional. The gentleman who took orders and served food took care of us like we were family. He was very warm and kind. My husband and I had beef tibs with injera, kale, and avocado salad (very large portions!), and our daughter had a huge stack of pancakes with a lovely bowl of fresh fruit. The gentleman even offered her whipped cream which made her day! We also had a latte and an americano. The food is high quality Ethiopian food (we've eaten Ethiopian food at other places) and the coffee is good and strong. We loved our experience here and we'll definitely be back! We took some Tiramisu and a fruit tart to go. We haven't tried them yet, but they looked amazing!

Rebecca's Cafe: A Minnesota Must Rebecca's Cafe stands out as Minnesota's finest gem. This cozy cafe, nestled in the heart of the state, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their menu showcases local ingredients, from hearty hot dishes to fresh wild rice salads, all bursting with Minnesota flavor. What truly sets Rebecca's Cafe apart is its exceptional service. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness make every visit memorable. Plus, their commitment to sustainability is commendable, with a focus on local sourcing and eco-friendly practices. Whether you're a local or a traveler, don't miss the chance to experience the best of Minnesota at Rebecca's Cafe. It's a delightful blend of culinary excellence, hospitality, and sustainability in one must-visit spot.

I've had my eye on this place for a while and got the chance to order 50 cannolis for my office this week. The owner helped me figure out a good amount to order and what that cost would be. He was patient and kind and wanted to ensure that the cannolis would be made fresh the day of for best quality. They were so delicious and crisp, even later that night! Got a lot of thumbs up at work! When I came to pick them up, I was surprised with a small bag of coffee beans that he roasted the other day and gifted some to me as a thank you for my large order. He also took the time to grind the beans for my pour over since I didn't own a grinder.

I ordered a few items for myself, and they were all so delicious! I got a cream puff, fruit tart, and vanilla mocha cake. My boyfriend and I devoured all of it! So yummy and not too sweet. He also made me a latte to drink on the drive home, which was so generous! It was very smooth, and the espresso had a good depth of flavor.

I had a nice conversation with the owner while I was there, and it was a kind of interaction I haven't had with a stranger in a really long time. I truly appreciate it and am so thankful for his kindness and generosity! He honestly made my week. These people have a lot of knowledge and passion when it comes to what they do. They deserve all the love! We will be back!!...

My husband and I have been going to Rebecca's Bakery and Cafe for many years now and it is our absolute favorite bakery!!! We have tried nearly every dessert with many classic Italian options (tiramisu, cannoli, millefoglie, ricotta pie, and many other delights). Buy a cake for your next celebration decorated beautifully with the taste of perfection. Everything is absolutely delicious! We always pair our dessert with a mocha, latte, espresso, or cappuccino (there is an oat milk option if you do not drink dairy milk)! We love coffee and pick up a bag of coffee beans brewed fresh right in the bakery whenever we are running low. Plus, they serve breakfast and lunch. My husband loves the spaghetti and meatballs and I love the sabs tibs (incredibly delicious Ethiopian dish). Definitely worth trying all that the bakery has to offer! And the owners...... incredibly welcoming couple that always put a smile on your face when you come in and are the reason we keep coming...
