I have fond memories of this place over the past 15 years and after a memory popped up on Facebook with a picture of my go-to item (the talking oreo) I decided to head over after dinner for some dessert. When we arrived there was a line but nothing crazy, what stuck out the most was the ridiculously loud music that made it difficult for customers to place their orders. I watched people ahead of me craning their necks and leaning over the counter to be heard.

There were 5 girls working; 2 of them scooping and 3 hovering over 1 register. The two girls scooping were more focused on putting on a show for each other, singing to Disney songs than they were serving customers. We felt more like an inconvenience than guests since they were laughing and joking with each other but acting bland and straight faced with us.

The portion size for the talking oreo seemed like half the size or smaller than it was years ago but priced the same if not higher. In the picture I had of it from years ago, it was served in a larger cup, not the smallest size, and I remember it had lots of hot fudge inside surrounding a good portion of icecream with crushed oreos. On this visit there was MAYBE a teaspoon of hot fudge in the small cup around the small scoop of ice cream that didn't even fill the cup but it was loaded up with whipped cream.

I was extremely disappointed, it was a huge rip off for 8 dollars and I immediately regretted my decision trying to relive my previous experience. We will definitely not be...

Yawn oh right, ice cream. Sorry, but Sebastian Joe's just doesn't hit it as anything spectacular. This time I couldn't even get impressed enough to ask for a sample of any flavor. My daughter's choice, while "good" flavored, was still underwhelming as the promised things in the ice cream were so tiny that she couldn't distinguish anything that was promised to be in it. That's how I feel about it - I want chunks in my ice cream and they need to be big enough to chew or why bother. SJs just doesn't ever seem to do this in their flavor choices. If I want just plain ice cream it will be with food - like vanilla with apple pie. I wouldn't go out of my way to get this ice cream, imho. My daughter kinda said she might, but probably not when there are so many other choices for better ice cream and flavors. My husband and I shared an ice cream sandwich - oreo ice cream between 2 chocolate chip cookies. Enjoyable but mostly because I really liked the basically frozen cookie. Nice place, nice employees,...

This place was amazing. Some of the best cookies n cream ice cream I've had in my life (Oreo is the flavor name); I think they blend Oreos into the actual ice cream, in addition to crumbling and folding them in. There were a TON of cool flavor combos to choose from. I highly recommend looking them up in advance before coming in and having a list of what you'd like to sample ready.

When we got there, there were 30 or so people waiting in line (for good reason). The staff is good at ensuring people are coming through the line at a decent pace.

Bathrooms are for paying customers only; you must ask the staff for the door code.

They sell take-home pints and Oreo ice cream sandwiches (chocolate chip cookies for the outsides).

We ordered a macchiato and didn't realize until we left that we had received just a cup with some Espresso in it, which was the only downside to our visit. But we think the employee might've been newer.

Will definitely be...

In some ways it's good that I've become so sensitive to sugar that I can't eat much ice cream in one sitting because otherwise I probably would have had a 20 scoop cone. Probably would have blown my food budget for the say, too. I tried 3 flavors, they were all great. Ended up with a 2 scoop cone, before dinner mint and Pavratti. I'm in North Dakota now but am strongly considering going back for the oatmeal raisin cookie I didn't get. Please try the others and let me know how they are. I recommend you take your cone for a walk through the local neighborhood and enjoy the beautiful historic homes while you walk off some of those calories. If you go far enough you can go back for more! They also have coffee which looked good but I didn't try it. I did see a coffee roasting machine meaning they either roast it themselves or they have a much larger decorating budget than I do.

We stopped by for a late afternoon snack. I would have given the ice cream 5 stars for flavor and selection but docked them a star for service related issues which I wouldn't expect to happen in a subsequent visit. My daughter ordered an Oreo milkshake that tasted more like milk than Oreo... it was rectified quickly when mentioned to them. My wife ordered the ultimate sundae with Heathbar sprinkled over it. It came out & was handed to her covered in Oreo dust. Upon noticing, she mentioned it to another worker & just asked to add Heathbar to it to make it easier. They agreed but came back later & had no Heathbar to add...they were all out. They were very accommodating but it was an unexpected complication. Hopefully, it won't be experienced during the really busy times.

I tried their dolce caldo and it was... different lol. It was kinda like a waffle cone in theory but used two halfs of what I believe is a potato bun in a waffle press? The ice cream in the middle was still cold and the bun was warm on the outside. The bun wasn't too absorbant so when the ice cream does melt, its a disaster waiting to occur. I'd probably pass on it next time. They have lots of fun flavors that rotate. I tried their hibiscus and I really liked it! I think their Pothole flavor is a bit overrated. It tastes like chocolately chocolate. Maybe people are into that, I'm not lol. Staff can be a hit or miss. Some are super nice and enthusiastic, others look like they just want to go home. Overall a good experience.
