The Lynhall Minneapolis Private Event Venue — Restaurant in Minneapolis

The Lynhall completely overdelivered from the moment we signed on with them a year ago. Andrea the event project manager worked with me diligently, getting back to me quickly and always being very organized and on top of everything. She gave us full confidence that the event would go smoothly and boy did it.

We chose this venue because of the built in staff, bar, catering and turnover service, and it was the best choice we ever made. The turnover was seamless, their event space is perfect for wedding, with the back room for getting ready, and every single staff member was on point.

From the moment we arrived to the venue on the day of our wedding their staff was perfection.

Our event lead Nathan was the most competent, thorough, and honestly phenomenal worker. He had printed all our emails with important information, he came early to help set things up, he knew our whole wedding day timeline essentially like a wedding coordinator and helped everything go even more smoothly than I could have imagined. Icing on the cake was the moment our ceremony ended, and the room was turning over (which also was so seamless, barely even knew it was happening) he found us in the back with glasses of champagne. During the ceremony, he was immediately fixing the microphone when there was some feedback, but in a discrete way where I had no idea he was even doing it during. He was professional and I'd hire him for any event in the future.

The staff overall were kind, attentive and SO good. They prepared our cake on stand and knew the moment I wanted it taken out, without prompting. The servers had their eyes on me and whenever I or my husband went to the bar, I was immediately cared for. The meal service was impeccable, the cocktails were insane (like, real cocktails, not batch, not rail, and LOTS of them). I have never felt more confident and happy, thanks to the staff at the Lynhall.

All in all, this was the best day of our lives, and we could not have done it without the lynhall. We want to have all of our events here in the future, I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

I had my wedding here and it was an incredibly perfect venue from atmosphere, space, food, drink and flexibility with the events staff. I worked with Erin to make my day become a reality and I can't think of one thing that went unplanned. Erin worked with us well ahead of time on our ceremony, menu, wine and beer needs, dessert, timing and layout. She worked behind the scenes with our day-of-coordinator and those two worked some serious magic behind the scenes. Multiple guests commented on the space and how beautiful it was and that it was a perfect, cozy winter wedding. And guests LOVED the food. The short ribs, mashed potatoes and roasted chicken with mushrooms were huge hits. I had many compliments on the quality of the food, which was always hot and the staff made sure the flow of the lines was good and that food was always replenished. We also had a hot vegetable (brocollini) and a salad. We picked 3 mini desserts. One thing I really appreciated was that the chefs and bakers would have worked with us to make special off-menu selections. We ended up keeping it simple but just knowing that is an option is a big plus for future special events and weddings. They accommodate for children and dietary needs as well. Everyone was able to eat a filling and delicious dinner and dessert! We had the ceremony in the Ambleside room in front of the mantle and it was so lovely, they had the room set-up perfectly and took it down seamlessly before the reception. I really can't speak more highly of having our wedding here. Every detail was attended to and nothing was overlooked. It went as smoothly as possible and now this restaurant will always hold an extra special place...

I want to love this place, I've tried now 3 times to love this place, but each time I find I need to make excuses for things to not tarnish the visit. The main part is around service. The individuals themselves are delightful and kind, but not on point or timely. This last time it was only with my pointed glances from server to food window, that made him realize our food was sitting under the heat lamps waiting to be served. Coffee drinks, which I can completely appreciate taking time to make well, take simply too long to give credit to exceptional creation. We are pretty sure that my daughter's request for her steak to be medium RARE was told to the kitchen as medium WELL because they said it would be too tough unless cooked medium which she accepted....hmmmm...Had to be a mix up in the conversation because what she did receive was much closer to medium WELL and too tough. It seems, after visiting a few times, that perhaps they don't staff as completely or accurately as they should. This last time there were two servers sharing the entire place and bouncing around from table to table. One took our order, the other came over later unaware our order was already in. I felt I had to keep looking, keep requesting for service rather than have a server come to us. Lastly, we enjoyed trying restaurant week lunch. For the most part, the meal had some great options I'd love to have again. However, the dessert we had - a double chocolate brownie with frosting - looked and tasted like a L.D. cosmic brownie. For the LynHall I'd expect every bakery item to be basically stellar so that...
