Ahhh Cantina Laredo, I expected better of you. The wait to be seated wasn’t horrible considering the current rules regarding half capacity in restaurants. We were seated as soon as we brought our buzzer in and only had to wait a couple minutes before a server came. The menus had already been on the table so we had all chosen what we wanted by the time the server came by. However when we informed our server that we were ready to order she INSISTED we only order our drinks. Fine. We ordered our drinks thinking that chips and salsa would be brought to our table pretty soon. Oh how we were wrong. It took an abnormally long time for our drinks to come by and when our drinks DID come there was still no chips and salsa. A couple minutes pass and we are brought chips but no salsa. The chips were under salted but alas, there were neither salt nor pepper shakers on the table. We had to wave over another employee to gives us salt. It took another 15 minutes to get salsa and we still had not ordered our food. A member of our party had also ordered tortillas(spoiler alert: we never got them)Not only that, but we had also had no drink refills. And it wasn’t like our server was busy at other tables. Nope. We saw her just standing around near the kitchen entrances. Another employee came over to refill our drinks while our server watched. Finally, our server asked us for our orders. My sister and I were considering sharing a quesidilla, and to ensure there would be a large enough portion I asked the server how large the quesidilla is. She looked me right in the eyes and said, “you’re with the woman in the black shirt right?” (We we’re splitting the ticket) I nodded and proceeded to ask the size of the quesidilla again. She explained the size and said “so that what you want?” We gave her our order and she left the table. We then proceeded to wait a very long time for food. At least we had our chips and salsa. (Though the chips and salsa weren’t even that good) Our meal was finally brought to us without certain elements. The fajitas a member of our party ordered were missing the pico, guac, and sour cream on the side. Additionally, they were given barely any tortillas. The lack of refills and service in general continued and by the end of the meal we were ready to be done. Alas, it had taken so long that the ice cream store we wanted for dessert had closed. I went in the bathroom and the hand soap dispenser was basically unusable and there was no paper towels or hand dryer. Horrible service, barely even worth the tip we gave. This bad service ruined an otherwise great night and left a bad taste in my mouth. The food was fine but the advice just...

My wife and I have just encountered possibly the worst dining experience in the entire last four years tonight at Cantina La Redo. For a multitude of reasons that I shall explain, we may never come back. Let's just begin with the complete and utter failure of restaurant staff to maintain a dining environment conducive for anyone other than intoxicated, obnoxious, boisterous, disrespectful children posing as adults to behave. We initially were seated at a table near the bar, but VERY quickly asked to leave because the group next to us was standing uncomfortably close, screaming, yelling, laughing loudly, and making it known that they did not care to interrupt anyone else trying to eat tonight. We asked the hostess to please relocate our table, which resulted in our waiter promptly coming up to say "I'm giving you to another server, this is out of my zone" and walking away before any of us could even reply. We sent one of our party to walk the restaurant with a $10 bill in her hand to give to him as a courtesy, but he was nowhere to be found. We later find out the order for drinks and food he took was likely thrown away, as nobody at the bar nor kitchen had any idea we'd ever even requested anything. We sat dormant for 15 minutes without being served, before having to manually flag down another waiter and ask if it was okay for us to be served please. All in all, the wait staff was extremely rude to us when asking the bar if our drink orders were perhaps sent there instead, but this all made sense because the group being completely unacceptable acting like college kids, standing between tables at this point shouting to each other, also had that SAME server who was rude to us about our drinks, go socialize with them. Imagine our discouragement when we were looking for the dining environment to please calm down some, for our orders to possibly be brought to the table, but instead of any of that happening, Cantina Staff is socializing alongside the problem group with them instead of running a restaurant. Our new waiter apologized profusely and did the best he could, but it was clear there was no management at Cantina tonight. We typically order dessert, but all four of us had our night completely ruined by this dining experience. We have never left so fast, and if this is any excuse for how this restaurant will be managed in the future, we'll never be back. Absolutely disturbing lack of management tonight on Saturday, May...

I along with two friends visited the restaurant Tue evening (4/2) to order food for our wives. Since we were placing to go orders we were directed to order from the bar. From then on, our experience was quite disappointing. Although the bar was busy, it was not hard to see 3 guys sitting down at the end. Especially since one of us stood right by the entrance of bar. When we first approached the bar there were two servers ( a woman with blonde hair and gentleman with dark hair); however, neither one stopped to greet us. * I used to be a server and bartender and understand the time frame in which guests should be greeted *. After roughly 10 minutes of the bartenders moving around and passing by us, we had to stop the gentleman and ask him if we could place a to go order. He said yes and then proceeded on towards the kitchen. As you can imagine, we sat dumbfounded as to why no one was serving us. I hesitate to point to the fact that we were young black men dressed very casually (having just gotten off of the road from Atlanta), but unfortunately the notion popped in my head. As the server returned from kitchen, we had to stop him yet again and ask if we could order. We ordered drinks while we sat at the bar, but the ridiculousness didn't stop there. At this time a third bartender entered but we still had to ask to put in our food order, ask for water, and ask for chips that everyone who sat at the bar automatically received (yes, we were there long enough to realize this). I will say that the third bartender (a slightly taller gent with dark hair) asked if we needed anything, but at that point we did not. After some time, we collected our food and left...
