Dad's Sandwiches and Things — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

I was in a rush and wanted a sandwich nearby for me and my girlfriend.

At first, I honestly didn't think it was enough food, I ordered the full size sandwich and their homemade chips.

I'm glad I took a chance on this place because the food is very fresh and I was stuffed at the end of my meal. (For reference I am 230 lbs and go to the gym, so I can eat a lot)

I felt great afterwards and the flavors were fantastic! I appreciated the homemade chips; it shows how passionate the owner is about his business; it isn't easy making tons of recipes from scratch.

11/10 I would definitely recommend.

The owner made the sandwiches and sent me off with a big smile on his face. His son is very kind and respectful and worked the front end of business. I will be heading back very frequently to this wholesome and delicious sandwich shop.

This place is to die for! I ordered The Beef (no onions), and my husband got the Italiano. We both plowed through our sandwiches. The meat is excellent and fresh. The bread is SO GOOD that I would eat a whole baguette on its own. The deli is family owned and run, and everyone helps out. They are extremely family friendly, helping to tailor sandwiches for our 1 and 3 year old as well. I saw a bunch of recommendations for this place on local social media groups, and found that I pass by it almost every day.

I stopped in to check out the menu, and was disappointed not to find what looked like a great philly cheeseteak that I'd seen in photos. That was because it wasn't on the regular menu, but on the specials board. Faith restored, I ordered the cheese steak from who I assume was the owner or manager. He was very nice. He even offered me a small sample of potato salad, which was excellent. The philly was also excellent. I can't wait to come...
