Fat Treats — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

Was excited to visit based on great reviews here and elsewhere. Menu is small, we both got the Rhino Burger, which comes with avocado, bacon, cheese, and sauce (russian dressing) and fries. The burger was fair, tasted like food service, meaning not much flavor. Fries were decent shoe string.

Place has backless stools at the serving bar and a couple 2 tops outside under umbrellas. When the food is ready you go pick it up. Consider in the hour we were there (service was fast, we eat slow) no one else ventured in or out (or really, went past) I'm confused why they can't just bring it to you. Oh, and napkins are "over there"

We brought our cute wooden trays back to the bar, server didn't ask why one of them was only half eaten.

I can't figure the business model here, at least at lunch time. Maybe at night the places get busy due to the movies? But at lunch time the parking lot and restaurants were all...

My wife and I recently ate at Fat Treats and were blown away. We had the Rhino’s Fat Burger, which came with fries, and it completely filled us up. It was hands down the most delicious burger I’ve ever had—and my wife agrees! The flavors were incredible, and it was definitely worth every penny.

The customer service was just as impressive. Ivan, who helped us, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. Everyone else we interacted with was also fantastic.

What a surprise! We sat down to have some lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how good it all was.

Caesar wrap was well seasoned, flavorful and just the right crunch. The spinach tortilla is so good, and it's all well balanced.

The fat dog (we got without the sauce and chopped bell peppers) was delicious. Grilled bun and a high quality jumbo hot dog.
