Sal's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

A really awesome New York style pizza made by a family with NY roots. The crust is thin, light, and crunchy with just the right amount of chew and saltiness. The ingredients/toppings taste of a higher quality than most pizza places. You can especially tell with the sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella that they use. My mother is Italian so I've been eating Italian/Italian American food my whole life. You better believe that I'm a very harsh critic when it comes to Italian/Italian American food and I would say this place is really good. Really goes above and beyond when it comes to NY style pizza.

I was dismantling my old bed to make way for a new one and I realized I hadn’t eaten all day. It was like 330 in the afternoon. I started my online search and up came Sals Pizza. I was immediately intrigued by the Grandma pizza and the Sicilian style pizzas. I ordered a large Sicilian land a 2 liter of Coke. It was a little pricey with the delivery it was way more CV than I’m used to paying for a pizza. I recommend picking it up if you can. Saves a lot of money. Was a lucky find when we went to the movies at Edwards Theaters. An authentic pizza restaurant with a true Italian heritage. And the pizza is great. We will be back to try the Italian sandwiches. The place was crowded with take out orders and a few dine in customers. We enjoyed the vegetarian pizza. Great thin crust with a good crunch and clean toppings.
