Santora's Pizza Subs & Wings is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious comfort food with a variety of options. Here's my take on what makes this place worth visiting:
Atmosphere: The restaurant has a laid-back and inviting vibe, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. Whether you dine in or take out, the staff always provides friendly and efficient service.
Food Quality: The food is top-notch, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. Their pizzas are loaded with toppings, featuring a crispy crust and rich, flavorful sauce. The wings are perfectly cooked with just the right balance of tenderness and crispness, and their variety of sauces caters to every palate, from mild to super spicy. Subs are hearty, with fresh bread and high-quality fillings that make every bite satisfying.
Highlights:
Pizza: The specialty pizzas stand out, especially the meat lovers and white garlic pizzas.
Wings: Their wings are among the best around, with options like honey BBQ, garlic parmesan, and buffalo that never disappoint.
Subs: If you're in the mood for a sub, their Italian sub and chicken parm are definite winners.
Value: The prices are reasonable given the portion sizes and quality of the food. They also offer great combo deals, making it a budget-friendly option for families or group gatherings.
Overall: Santora's is a must-try for pizza and wing lovers. It’s a perfect spot for game nights, quick lunches, or a laid-back dinner. The variety on the menu ensures there’s something for everyone, and the flavors keep you coming back for more. Highly...
Read moreLove this place and the food is great. Why the 3 stars? To-go is a train wreck. Ordered 75 dry wings and they asked if we wanted a ton of small containers or cups. Cups. Was told order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Got there and they were ready 40 minutes after ordering. They also charged for the sauce to the sweet tune of $8 PER cup, but said they'd give us a deal and only charge us for one since we ordered them dry? They didn't say anything about charging for sauce on the phone and sure didn't reduce the price for them being dry. So, if you use more of their supplies (tons of little plastic cups, +more work/time for them fill and lid all of them), sauce is free, vs 3 HALF filled styrofoam to go cups (that they would give you for free for to-go drinks if you ate in), they charge you. Pretty irritated and not impressed with them trying to sell it as them giving us a $16 discount on something they shouldn't be charging for (if you order the wings in sauce, no charge, so sauce doesn't inherently have a charge 🤔) and don't disclose when you order, or on their menu online or in store (we checked). The fries were cold, soggy and flavorless, so I think they were done well before the wings and just sat there in the containers.
Eat in, don't...
Read moreCame to eat here on my lunch break. Ordered wings with a side of fries. Can't complain about how the food tasted but there was one big problem I had with the fries and the server. I reach over to grab a couple of fries and start to chew. Right away I noticed something hard but I thought to myself it's probably just a super crunchy fry so I bite down on it. OMG I experienced the worst tooth pain ever. Honestly thought I chipped a tooth. It felt like I bit down on something metal. Quickly I spit it out and come to realize there was a staple in my fries! A staple! I call out the server and ask her to explain what it is. She looks at it and replies "Oh, yeah, this is from the potato sack. I'm sorry, this isn't the first time." Just like that. Just the way she said it. As if it was something normal and I had nothing to worry about. What if this was a little kid eating and the situation was worse. I honestly felt like I should've taken legal action against this place...
